My experience at Methodist West was absolutely exceptional. The nurses and doctors were phenomenal, offering truly compassionate, attentive, and professional care throughout my stay. Every team member went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, informed, and well cared for. Their kindness and expertise made a challenging time feel manageable, and I can’t thank them enough for their superior level of care. My experience with Dr. Minh Nguyen was truly exceptional from start to finish. I arrived in the ER late Thursday night in a lot of discomfort and uncertainty, and he operated on me first thing Friday morning. Throughout the entire process, Dr. M demonstrated a level of patience and compassion that immediately put me at ease. What stood out even more was the way he went above and beyond with aftercare. He regularly updated my family, who were out of town and extremely worried which brought them so much reassurance. His empathy, attentiveness, and genuine kindness made an incredibly challenging period much more bearable for me. I am deeply grateful for the level of care he provided. It is rare to encounter a physician who combines exceptional surgical skill with such humanity, and I truly appreciate everything he did for me during this experience.

Had my first initial visit with Dr. MINH. the front office staff was nice and quick. Once inside I was made aware we would move quickly because of an unscheduled emergency surgery Mr. Minh had , this was no problem although it was quick Dr. MINH WAS SUPER THOUROUGH. he addressed all my concerns played out his process for umbilical hernia repair, he explained the type of mesh he will use and utlibed the procedure procedure, explained the full surgery process and aftercare process. Took time to address all my concerns and I felt like I found the right person to perform my surgery. I look forward to surgery without much fear now.

Dr Nguyen did my laparoscopic surgery. He is very kind and friendly and took care of me post op when I had a post op N/V. His office staff is also friendly . I would recommend him for any surgical procedure, he really have excellent bedside manners

Office staff was friendly. Same social distance and covid procedure as every other office at the houston methodist west. Waiting area was just fine. Dr. Nguyen is very thorough and knowledgeable, as well as his staff. They are also very responsive to after hours needs and questions.
