Atmosphere: There’s both indoor and outdoor seating, and the overall vibe is that of a quiet, cozy bistro where you can actually have a conversation. Food: The mocktails were just okay in my opinion - they tasted quite syrupy, yet several options were priced at above $10, which felt a bit steep. The food itself was pretty good. The pork belly was on the sweeter side and went well with rice. The clams came with bread, which was nice. The shrimp curry had only about five shrimp, though. The green beans were mildly spicy but still very manageable. We asked for two small bowls of rice, but the server upsold us to a large bowl, which surprisingly cost $7. Price: For two people, the final bill came to $150+ after tax and tip. The menu is shown in the last photo. Reservations: We made the reservation during the week for the same weekend, and there were still plenty of time slots available. Even throughout the evening, I noticed quite a few empty tables, so reservations didn’t seem particularly difficult to get. Parking: Street parking on the nearby smaller streets is possible and didn’t seem too difficult. Overall: Not a disappointing experience, but also not somewhere I’d feel the need to come back to.

Visited Monsoon Seattle on a Monday night to an almost empty restaurant, yet we still waited nearly 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us at the table and offered water. …

Monsoon was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The drunken chicken was phenomenal - rich, flavorful, and one of those dishes you keep thinking about afterward. The shaking beef was equally impressive, perfectly seasoned and incredibly tender, and the duck buns were another standout. Honestly, everything we tried was outstanding. The atmosphere is gorgeous, stylish, and fun, with just the right amount of energy to make dinner feel special without being overly formal. The service was just as memorable as the food. Everyone we interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, and the level of service was exceptional throughout the evening. This is the kind of restaurant where the food, atmosphere, and hospitality all come together perfectly. We loved every part of the experience and will absolutely be back.

I would 100% recommend Monsoon! We made a reservation, although maybe not needed for a Wednesday evening. Street parking on 19th. …

A lively little place that has the most incredible duck confit buns. The Drunken Chicken was everyone's favourite and while I'm usually not a huge fan of noodles, the Wokked noodles here were incredible!
