Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church is a Catholic church in San Jose, California, located at 2040 Nassau Dr, San Jose, CA 95122. This parish provides a setting for Mass, prayer, reflection, and connection within the local Catholic community. With a 4.6 rating from 183 reviews, it is often described by visitors as a diverse and welcoming parish. Reviewers also identify the community as Jesuit-run and praise priests for offering thoughtful guidance in homilies and conversations outside Mass. For San Jose residents and guests seeking a Catholic faith community, Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church is associated with a warm, reverent environment and a clear sense of belonging.
Experiences shared by parishioners point to a community that makes room for people of different backgrounds and languages. One visitor recalls attending a Spanish Mass and feeling genuinely welcomed despite not being a native Spanish speaker; another mentions completing Vietnamese Bible Study and Vietnamese language courses, known as GLVN, with especially kind teachers. These accounts offer useful context for Vietnamese families and other San Jose neighbors who value faith formation alongside worship. They also suggest a parish atmosphere where newcomers can participate at their own comfort level rather than feeling like outsiders. Specific Mass, study, and language-program schedules should be confirmed directly before a visit, since current times are not included in this listing.
The church interior and shared worship experience are recurring highlights in reviews. Visitors call attention to the altar and an image of the Virgen de Guadalupe, describing them as memorable focal points for prayer. The choir is another frequently appreciated part of Mass, helping sustain a joyful yet respectful spirit throughout the service. A reviewer also notes a private room for adoration, offering a quieter option for personal devotion when available. Rather than promising a single style of service, these observations portray a parish where music, visual devotion, prayer, and reflection each have an important place.
This Catholic church can be a suitable choice for individuals, families, longtime parishioners, and visitors who want Catholic worship in San Jose with a visible community dimension. A first-time guest may appreciate one reviewer's practical suggestion: at the end of Mass, the priest may invite people with birthdays, anniversaries, or special intentions to come forward. Participation is a personal choice, but the gesture illustrates the welcome that reviewers describe. The directory does not provide operating hours, and a visitor reports that the building has no air conditioning. Anyone sensitive to summer heat should plan for comfort and confirm current Mass, adoration, or program details before traveling to Nassau Drive.

Sign in to reviewTo me it's the biggest church inside and outside. Also it has the best choir I have ever seen or heard in any churches I have visited in 28 years. Please come see it for yourself. I just love the altar, the Virgen de Guadalupe photo it's amazing. This church also has it's own private room for Adoration and silence to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. It also has a beautiful plaza or patio with A big Sacred Heart of Jesus statue as well as a Virgen de Fatima statue not to mention the benches to sit and enjoy love hope and peace only our Father God can give us. Amen.
A very diverse and welcoming parish run by Jesuits. If it's your first time visiting, go up to the front at the end of mass when the priest asks for birthdays, anniversaries, or special intentions. You will not regret it.
Forgive me lord for I know not what I do...or go. I guess if I was Catholic I would have enjoyed the 9:30 service. I must admit I did feel the presence of the lord. And in the end that's what it's all about. So needless to say .... 5 ⭐'s
Priests provide insightful advice on a wide range of issues during homilies and outside of mass. There is no A/C, so it might be difficult for some to attend mass during the summer. I completed the church's Vietnamese Bible Study and language courses (GLVN). Teachers are extremely nice and teach based on a curriculum. The community is friendly.
We attended the Spanish mass here. Great feeling of community. Where are not native speakers of Spanish but we feel welcomed. The priests are great and love their homilies. The coir keeps the spirit of joy going. It is 30 min from our house but we love it!
