I visited Mr. Tea at around 6:30 PM on Friday, June 5th. I’ve been coming to Mr. Tea for the past four years, and the tea was great as always. However, my experience with the customer service was disappointing. Two employees greeted me when I arrived, but afterward their behavior came across as unprofessional and unwelcoming. One seemed visibly annoyed, while the other appeared to be looking down on me or reacting negatively behind my back. Whether that was the intention or not, that was certainly how it felt from a customer’s perspective. I always try to be respectful and friendly when interacting with staff, so it was uncomfortable to receive that kind of response. No customer should leave feeling worse about themselves after a simple visit. I am not trying to get anyone in trouble, and I have nothing personal against either employee. In fact, I sincerely hope this was a misunderstanding rather than intentional behavior. That said, I believe better customer service and professionalism would go a long way in making customers feel welcomed and valued. As a loyal customer of four years, I felt it was important to share this feedback honestly and respectfully.

Everytime I am in Boston, I always make sure to swing by this amazing boba place!! Never too crowded, and they always have a ton of customizations available. Since other boba places get more foot traffic, this one is quieter in comparison, depending on what time of day you come in. Big fan of their thai milk tea!
Extremely sweet, I only taste the osmanthus syrup and zero oolong tea. In fact, I even asked for 50% sweetness right after checkout and the staff acknowledged.
