Sign in to reviewFood: we’ve tried this place multiple times before and after they update the menu. Their tom yum fried rice amazed us for sure; definitely our favorite of all. Service: they get very busy so it’s always better to get on the waitlist earlier. Their price is definitely more up there compared to other Thai restaurants in Bay Area. Ambiance: vibey and cozy. Small party are more suitable.
This place is right across the Westfield mall. The wait time was around 30 mins on a Sunday evening, so better to join the waitlist. It is a nice cozy dining area, slightly loud, but can talk. The server was sweet and helpful. We started by ordering the Thai iced tea, wouldn't recommend getting it. The pad kee mao and the paneng curry were great!! The cherry tomatoes in the pad kee mao added a nice freshness to it. We ordered it to be medium spicy for both dishes, and it was just the right balance of spice. The price for the Thai iced tea and the soda bottle was a bit pinching, but overall a good place.
This place is one of my go-to Thai restaurants. The flavors lean a bit more American-style than super traditional Thai, but it’s honestly perfect for the American palate — bold, flavorful, and super satisfying. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and the seasoning/spice is on point. My favorites are the Pat See Ew with beef, Tom Kha soup, and Pad Kra Pao — all packed with flavor. The papaya salad is fresh with a great kick, and the Pad Thai is amazing. Also they even have fresh coconut water. Everything I’ve tried here has been delicious — highly recommended!
I’ve been here many times and always enjoy the food. The dishes are flavorful, well-seasoned, and great for sharing with friends and family. One of my favorite parts is the dessert — especially the ice cream, which is a perfect way to finish the meal. The atmosphere is lively and the service is always good. Definitely a Thai restaurant worth trying!
Had a great time at Must Be Thai! Food was delicious and the service was good. Tom kha and the Green Curry were on the spot. Sticky rice was served in cute traditional basket. Over all a great experience!
