Located in Los Angeles, CA, Nail korea is a Nail Salon serving clients in the heart of Koreatown at 3054 W 8th St #105. For locals searching for nail care in central Los Angeles, this spot is known for everyday manicures and pedicures as well as more detailed design work. Open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 to 20:00 and closed on Sunday, the salon offers a schedule that works well for weekday appointments, after-work visits, and Saturday beauty routines. Its location on West 8th Street also makes it a practical stop for people living, working, or spending time around the neighborhood.
What stands out most in customer feedback is the salon’s design-focused work. Guests often mention gel nails, pedicures, ombré styles, 3D nail art, and Gel X services when describing their visits. Several long-time customers praise the staff’s ability to create a lovely shape, polished finish, and creative looks that earn compliments afterward. Reviewers also point to the team’s skill with both simple one-color sets and more eye-catching custom designs, making Nail korea a place that may appeal to clients who want either a clean everyday look or something more expressive.
The overall atmosphere described by happy customers feels warm, accommodating, and personal. Some mention that staff members are sweet, talented, and able to fit people in with a call a few hours ahead. Others describe feeling relaxed and pampered during their appointment, especially when receiving pedicure services. In a busy area like Los Angeles, that balance of technical nail work and a more comfortable salon experience can matter just as much as the final result. For regulars, the salon seems to be part of an ongoing self-care routine rather than just a one-time stop.
At the same time, reviews suggest that experiences can vary, and that’s useful for new clients to know. While many customers speak highly of the artistry and service, some reviews mention concerns about pricing clarity and durability on certain sets. If you are booking detailed nail art, ombré work, 3D accents, or Gel X, it may be helpful to confirm the full price and aftercare expectations before the service begins. That kind of communication can make the visit smoother and help match the final result to your budget and expectations.
For people exploring Nail Salon options in Los Angeles, CA, Nail korea may be a fit for those who value nail design, gel services, and creative styling in Koreatown. It can be especially appealing for returning clients who enjoy trying new looks, as well as for anyone wanting a manicure or pedicure from a salon with established local visibility. If you appreciate detailed nail art and want a neighborhood salon with a loyal customer base, Nail korea is one of the places worth considering in the area.

The staff is the sweetest and always can accommodate and fit me in as long as I call a couple hours in advance. The nail salon is super cute and cozy. It’s always super clean and the energy is so inviting. Even my boyfriend loves to come get his nails done with me 🤣 Everyone does an amazing job and highly recommend getting your nails done here. Prices are super reasonable and you’ll leave so happy! 20/10!
I have been going here for years and Nail Korea is consistently the best manicure I’ve ever had and they are all incredibly skilled with designs. I get so many compliments and it is so fun to see what new designs they have come up with! Highly recommend.
Ashley was absolutely wonderful! She's incredibly talented and clearly passionate about her work. I felt so relaxed and pampered during my appointment. She took her time and I’m absolutely in love with my pedicure and will definitely be back to see her again soon!
I had a really disappointing experience here and I hate to do this to a fellow Korean, but I got gel nails and toes and the tech told me the total would be $100 with an additional $30 for ombré and 3d design but she never mentioned that the two 3d bear designs would cost an extra $50. I was shocked when she told me the total was $170 and after tip (I usually give more tip than this) it came out to $190, although it should’ve been $190 without tip because in the end she said she gave me $20 off. If I had known the real price upfront, I never would have agreed. The designs were not intricate at all, I’ve had far more detailed work done elsewhere for much less. And not once did she check if the nails were all the same size from the left and right. I had to tell her to file down more so they all look even and she had to say something each time like I was the wrong one for asking. When I questioned the price, she said, “Didn’t you see all the work I did?” but the design wasn’t that time-consuming or complex and there’s even a small dot on the bear’s nose. Look at the photos they are cute but for nearly $200? It ain’t worth it. If I’m paying that much, I expect a much cleaner work and a much cleaner salon. The bears aren’t worth $50. look at the eyes and nose. Even they look confused by all this. You can even see the brush strokes with the ombré, which should have been done with a sponge for a smooth blend. The staff were nice, but I left feeling scammed. The salon itself didn’t feel sanitary. It was really dusty and they used buckets for pedicures, which I didn’t even know was legal. It felt very unhygienic. Anyways I felt misled about the pricing and uncomfortable with the uncleanliness. I wouldn’t return.
four days ago I went to go get Gel X on my nails and got charged $140 only for My nails to fall off four days later. I went back and asked of the girls too fix one of my nails fell off and as soon as I went back home, another nail fell off two hours later. I am truly disappointed because I had to pay so much money for a basic french tip And even tipped them on top of that And they didn’t even last a week. They told me that my nails would last three or four weeks. If you are looking to get Gel X This is not the place to come. They won’t last and they overcharge.
