we got the Mr. Thoi’s Deep Fried Pork Spareribs and shaking beef. I GASPED when I tasted the ribs, they were bursted with flavors and the crunchy garlic just added so much depth and texture to the dish. It’s Mr. Thoi’s dish for a reason!
Nam-Viet Restaurant is a hidden gem in Clarendon with delicious food at affordable prices. My favorites were the grilled pork and the beef curry — both full of flavor and perfectly cooked. It’s also one of the few Vietnamese restaurants still standing from the old 'Little Saigon' days of Clarendon, which gives it a nostalgic charm and sense of local history. Service was efficient, and the atmosphere is casual and welcoming. Reservations are not necessary. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
Came in to try the Vietnamese coffee with a Pokemon ice mold on it but we came too late. The person I spoke to said they sold out with in 15 mins of opening. Wish I knew that because this is the first time trying this establishment. The ice coffee was a nice strong Vietnamese coffee. Wasn’t hungry so we ordered the crab fried rice to go. I liked the flavor profile of the fried rice but it would be better with a little more crab in it. Everyone was very nice and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Lots of pictures on the wall of previous customers. Would give this place another try in the future when we are in the area.
I've been coming here for over a year now and every time has been great experience. I pretty much order the same thing which are the salt and pepper shrimp and Saigon style soft shell crabs (if available). Occasionally I order pho which is …
Very delicious food, with good service. We ordered the pork belly beef skewers and they were fantastic. I am not a huge pork belly fan, so I think the regular beef skewer is a better value. The five spice chicken was also very good basically a curry pot with all the desired vegetables that I normally like to have added to my Curry dishes. Overall they have great food here. Update, one year later and this place is still delicious. This has become a local staple for me, one of my favorite places to get a variety of Asian foods including ribs Curry and beef entrees.
