Nara Therapeutic Thai Massage and Day Spa

**Highly Recommend Nara Therapeutic Massage Therapy on Barker Cypress!** I’ve been getting massages regularly for years, but today I had an outstanding experience at Nara Therapeutic Massage Therapy that truly stood out. I walked in with a massive headache that had been plaguing me for two days, plus my history of cervical fusion from C4-C7. I was a little nervous, but I booked a 60-minute Deep Tissue/Relaxation massage and I’m so glad I did. Don was fantastic. He is skilled, attentive, and genuinely knows what he’s doing. He found tight spots I didn’t even realize were hurting and worked them with the perfect balance of deep pressure and relaxation. He also took the time to explain that the pain I was feeling in my face (which I had chalked up to my chronic allergies) was actually my facial muscles reacting to the headaches. That insight alone was eye-opening. By the end of the session, my headache had significantly eased, my neck and shoulders felt looser than they have in a while, and I left feeling genuinely refreshed and cared for. The environment is clean and calming, and the staff made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. If you’re dealing with headaches, neck issues, muscle tension, or just need quality therapeutic work, do yourself a favor and book with Nara — especially with Don. I’ll definitely be back soon. This place is a hidden gem in the Barker Cypress area! **5/5 stars** — Highly recommended!

This was my first time going to Nara's. I had hip surgery in April and my muscles were all so tight all over. I scheduled a 90 minute massage and Mindy so awesome. She worked every muscle in my body from head to my toes. I was so relaxed …

Mindie is amazing! I went for a Swedish massage and she really worked my muscles. Now I feel like jelly. I will definitely be coming back again. The ambiance and care are worth it.

This was my second visit, and for the second time Nara Therapeutic Thai Masseage has come through with even better service than before where I didn't think they could improve any more on the excellent job they had done before. Somehow, they did go even further and beyond the excellence they gave me on my first vist. I will continue coming back because of their customer service, the quality of the servive, and just the entire overall experience. They're a 10 out of 10!

A 90 minute Thai combination massage with therapist Pam, was exactly what I needed. I came in very stiff and with extreme tightness in my neck, shoulders and upper back. Pam carefully worked the knots out with perfect pressure and hot stones. Having her walk on my back was my favorite part, I instantly felt my tensions begin to melt. The soothing music, heated table and light scents in the air created an enchanting atmosphere. This is my go-to place and I am never disappointed!!! I am already planning my next visit.
