I’ve debated on the way of how I was going to word this review, but I’ve decided I’m going to be blatant, to the point, and honest. I cannot stress to anyone enough, do not do custom jewelry here or waste your money here because it’s not worth the hassle. My now fiancé and I decided months ago to do a custom ring because what I wanted was very specific. His uncle recommended NASR Jewelers because of a repair he did a long time ago, and said that it was a good reputable family business. So my fiancé, went in and ordered a custom ring from them, it was made within a timely manner and he picked it up. Mind you, my fiancé and I are long distance so he traveled to my home town in California to propose to me. The second he put the ring on my finger I knew something was off because it was extremely tight. The next day I took it to another jeweler that I trusted and they told me the ring was made a size 6.5 … we ordered a custom ring that was supposed to be a size 8.5. So we called the owner, I completely forgot his name, we asked him if he would be okay with him paying for the price of the extra gold and just have it fixed here. He told me no that wouldn’t be able to happen. Then he told me to take the ring down to his family in Los Angeles and they would fix it for me there. Well that’s not a good option because I live 5.5 hours away and that would be a major inconvenience/expense on me for their mistake. So I then had to make the decision to let my ring go and have my fiancé take it back to Texas with him to get fixed. After a week the ring was finally fixed and they shipped it to me in California. Now, you’d expect for the ring to be packaged carefully since it’s a fine piece of jewelry. No, it was packaged in multiple plastic baggies and thrown into a paper envelope. No box, no bubble wrap, no protection, just baggies and a paper envelope. That just goes to show the little care and attention they have towards their customers. If the ring were to be delivered to me damaged, I would’ve gotten my lawyers involved at that point. This whole time I’ve yet to receive any kind of apology from the owner or someone. Not a single “I’m sorry” or “I apologize for this inconvenience” has ever come out of anyone’s mouth. Thank you NASR Jewelers for ruining my engagement and taking zero responsibility for your mistakes. I wouldn’t recommend this business to my worst enemy, and I sure as hell wouldn’t trust them ever again. If I could give zero stars I would. The only thing they did correct was do overnight shipping.

Mr. John did an excellent job at repairing my ring. It was a complete disaster and I didn’t know if it could be fixed. But it is a new ring!! It is now such a special ring representing my mom and my 2 kids!!

My wife took her wedding ring to Nasr Jewelers to have it resized, and the quality of the work was shocking. The stones no longer aligned properly, the soldering appeared to be done with silver instead of gold, and the finish was rough and lumpy. It looked nothing like the quality you'd expect from a professional jeweler. What disappointed us even more was the response when she returned to ask if anything could be done. There was no acknowledgment of her frustration or concern—just an indifferent stare that made her feel like the issue wasn't important. Wedding rings are deeply personal and sentimental, and that was completely ignored. I went back and immediately took the ring elsewhere. I've seen poor craftsmanship before, and this was poor craftsmanship. I would not trust them with fine jewelry or sentimental pieces. They may be able to handle basic repairs, but based on our experience, I cannot recommend them.

So I have to say I’ve been extremely disappointed with the service I’ve gotten. I inherited jewelry from my grandmother and father and went in to have the jewelry redesigned and incorporated into a wedding set for myself. I asked that my Dad’s wedding band be melted down and redesigned into a gold band with my kids names engraved and their birthstones. The stones were not evenly spaced and the “engraved” names have since rubbed off. I had the center stone from my grandmother’s ring incorporated into my wedding set and had my wedding band redesigned. I’ve had 2 diamonds fall out of my wedding band resulting in the band actually breaking. I brought it into be repaired about 7 months after the redesign. I was asked to pay for the labor to fix the ring, which in my mind should have been free since it had been less than a year since the design was done. It took about 4 weeks. I finally get it back and 2 weeks later I lost another diamond, another week later I lost yet ANOTHER stone. That’s a total of 4 LOST DIAMONDS! In addition to that, now the center stone on my engagement ring is loose. I’ve called and left messages and no one will call me back after I spent 3K for this redesign!!
