I absolutely love this place! The coffee is always delicious, the pastries are amazing, and the atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming. The staff is always kind and friendly, which makes every visit even better. They have everything you need to relax and enjoy your time a kids’ area, coloring activities, great coffee, and even a small outdoor seating area. I live nearby and love stopping by in the morning for a cup of coffee. Their baked goods are also really tasty. Such a warm, cozy and lovely spot. Highly recommend!

We ordered a half sheet princess cake from here for an event and it was absolutely amazing!! Looked beautiful as you can see in the pic (ignore the bow/crack in the photo above, happened in transit) and tastes even better! It's a super soft, amazing cake with very good flavors (chose raspberry & rum vanilla) and a great coating of marzipan! It was so good we've travelled with it on roads/planes since pickup and I'm still happily eating the leftovers as I write this review! We also picked up a few kringles and pastries while picking up the cake and those were also amazing, so much so that we ate them too fast to take a photo haha. The kringle in particular is perhaps the best I've ever had which is saying something as I've had quite a few!

We found this bakery on Google and it does deserve its good reputation! We had the Potato (deliciously creamy), a Bob (savory with caramelized onions, Brie and bacon), and a Bear’s Claw. All excellent. $16.50 total. The next day we bought another BOB, a cream cheese poblano (less exciting but still good), and an apple cinnamon roll (very nice). The pastries are not cheap but they are very good! We also noticed that around opening time they give pastries to homeless folks who come in. Apparently there is a gift card system.

There is nothing fancy space-wise going on here... which leaves space for perfectly delicious, excellent pastries and friendly staff. No line here on a rainy Saturday morning in Queen Anne. We got a Potato (puff pastry with whipped cream); …

I was late to come here because I had never seen the building front even though I'm in the area a lot (its lower and behind a tree) but it is the highest rated bakery around and immediately I could see why - the people working here are so friendly and kind to everyone. In a time where 'customer service' often is just downright angry service, this place is a refreshing surprise with quality foods that are homemade. It's also a cozy spot that feels very joyfully communal. I had the egg mcnielsen and it was heated in the panini maker and was a delicious breakfast sandwich for a very fair price of $7. Please visit this place! These are the kinds of small businesses that are worth fighting for!
