Sign in to reviewSo happy with the cake they made for my mom’s birthday! Got a 12” chestnut cake, requested less cream and got exactly that. The decoration and packaging was beautiful and the baker even personally loaded into the car for us. Price was very reasonable and all of my family complimented it!
Really loved coming to this bakery. I would come here on a weekly basis specifically for the pork floss cake roll. It costs $3.80 a piece now. I have noticed the quality declining over the past few weeks. It is noticeably smaller. Today I waited for them to “make it fresh”… after waiting 15 minutes, they gave me a cake roll where the ends were half empty. It was NOT covered in pork floss like it usually is. For about 0.25 worth of ingredients, you have lost a loyal customer. I also always see a mini baby fly inside their bakery case. This is not sanitary… the employees need to do a better job of opening or closing the breads case in the front. Or they can wrap everything individually.

My favorite bun here is their twist on the ham and egg bun. They use spam, a slice of seaweed and a crispy sesame brioche bun. The egg tarts are good too. Their pork bun lacks a lot of pork. If you want to order a cake in advance, they have a booklet of designs. They can't do all the designs in the book. We wanted to get the One Piece design, but they didn't have the design kit.
I’m so lucky to find this alternate bakery that sincerely makes their baked goods with love. A-1’s birthday cake is fresh and on point. Their decorations for this 12 inch cake was phenomenal! Layers were consistent, amounts of fruits were proportional. I really like their mini bbq pork, pigs in a blanket (hotdog) bun and pineapple buns! Their pricing is very reasonable . I also like their spam and egg sandwich. I will be back for more yummy goods.
