Sign in to reviewWe love shopping for Indian groceries at Nina’s. It’s one place where everything is organized and prices are labelled correctly. We decided to give the restaurant a try and were quite happy with the meal we ate. We got a masala dosa which came with two chutneys and sambar and a plate of medu vadas. Everything was fresh and delicious. We got a couple gulab jamuns which were good too.
Pretty cool that they have a whole indian restaurant inside. If you select the pre-made platters it is pretty affordable but the cooked to order stuff is pretty expensive. I'm sure the grocery and products are pretty good for those who are looking for that as well.
Great store for all food Indian. A medium sized market with a restaurant for fast food in the back. Small produce area and it's of different flours, grains, and spices. The restaurant serves tasty quick meals and they have by the weight sweets as well. The only reason i always go take a star away is the friendliness of the staff. It never fails me to see a smile from a clerk in any Indian owned store, no matter what type of store. Without stereotyping any particular group, my experience is always seeing a stern faced and unhappy persons working in these shops. I wonder why so serious, no engagement, no thanks, no hello or anything. The guy at the register the other day, pointed to the side of the register for me to place my items without saying a word. Somebody educate me on understanding the etiquette I'm missing.
Hey everyone, this is my second time visiting this restaurant, and I ordered Shahi Paneer curry. When I reheated the curry in the microwave, I noticed a large amount of oil floating on top. This was quite shocking. The picture I have posted here was taken after I removed some of the oil from the curry. I kindly request the restaurant staff to pay attention to the quantity of ingredients used while preparing food and to keep customers’ health in mind, not just the taste, look, and feel of the curry. I don’t want to pay 17$ for to spoil my health. I also strongly suggest that everyone be cautious while eating food outside. Hope this helps.
If you’re craving authentic Indian fast food, this place is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the aroma of fresh spices and sizzling snacks makes you feel like you’re in the heart of India. The chaat varieties are simply outstanding – from tangy Pani Puri and spicy Bhel Puri to the perfectly balanced Dahi Papdi Chaat, everything bursts with flavor and freshness.
