Nomad Organic Spa is a massage spa at 408 Harvard St in Brookline, MA, offering a neighborhood option for people looking to make time for a massage or foot massage. Customer feedback describes several styles of treatment, including Asian-style massage and Tuina, as well as sessions focused on the back. The spa has a 4.4-star rating from 201 reviews, reflecting a range of guest experiences rather than a single kind of visit. For anyone comparing massage spas in Brookline, that mix of feedback can help set realistic expectations and guide questions about the service before booking.
Guests have praised therapists for being attentive, taking time to help them feel comfortable, and providing a relaxing foot massage. One reviewer described leaving refreshed after a session with Susan, while another thanked Maggie for a good massage and noted that the therapist used hot towels to clean away oil section by section. These comments point to details that some visitors appreciate: focused care, a comfortable pace, and a warm towel finish after oil massage. Experiences can vary by therapist and treatment, so guests who have a preference for pressure, attention to a particular area, or an oil-free session may find it helpful to mention that before treatment begins.
Nomad Organic Spa may suit solo visitors seeking a straightforward massage, people hoping to ease tension in the back or feet, and pairs who want to request therapists of different genders. Reviews also suggest that guests have tried Asian-style treatments at a stated price of $69, although prices and availability can change; confirm current details directly with the spa. Feedback is not uniformly positive: some visitors have found a session less focused or different from what they expected, including a Tuina massage performed over clothing. If you have questions about clothing, technique, pressure, or the areas a therapist will work on, clarify those preferences when making an appointment and again before the session.
The Brookline location is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., making it possible to consider a visit on a weekday, evening, or weekend. Nomad Organic Spa is a practical choice for guests who value a local massage option and are comfortable communicating their needs clearly. The customer comments highlight both satisfying, restorative visits and experiences that did not suit every preference, so asking about the treatment format in advance is sensible. For current service options, pricing, appointment availability, and any promotional-price matching, contact the spa directly before visiting.

I had a wonderful experience at Nomad with Susan. She gave me one of the best foot massages I’ve ever had—so relaxing and exactly what I needed. Susan is attentive, skilled, and really takes her time to make sure you feel comfortable and cared for. I left feeling completely refreshed, like I was walking on air. I highly recommend booking with her if you’re looking for a truly soothing and professional treatment. I will definitely be coming back!
I am a regular guest here for years. I first tried this place by Groupon. When I redeemed Groupon there, the staff told me that they could match the coupon price for me so I wouldn’t need to buy Groupon. This policy has been applied for years. Last Thursday, I went there, after the session, I show the staff the Groupon price to match. She said the owner has changed the policy and they didn’t match the price any more. I was disappointed because no notice in the spa at all. I’d like to post here, so if you want to use their services, you should buy through Groupon with better price. There’s no reason to pay extra $20 for the same service.
This was the strangest massage experience I’ve ever had. Had the Tuina massage and the masseuse massaged me with my clothes on as well as a towel over my clothes. Very bizarre. The amount of pressure applied was okay but it felt like she wasn’t focused on key tension points. Overall the massage felt rushed and underwhelming and I wouldn’t come back. The icing on the cake was the tip request at the end. It was a 21 min massage and tips according to their sheet start from the 1hr services so not sure why there was an expectation for a tip after a short and rushed service. Note: they don’t ask the routine questions e.g trouble areas, if you’re pregnant or have any physical conditions etc. and you don’t sign any waiver forms.
Overall, the massage was good. We requested a massage from a man and a woman. They took good care of us. They seemed to generally adhere to hygiene standards. We got an Asian-style massage for $69. The focus was primarily on the back. We …
Not luxurious but gets the job done. It’s also nice that they clean the oil with hot towels after massaging each section. Thanks to my therapist Maggie for a great massage.
