Tonkotsu is a standout choice for guests who enjoy a deep, savory pork broth. Reviews describe it as rich and satisfying without being too greasy, so it may appeal to diners seeking a hearty bowl. For those who prefer more heat, customers mention ordering the Geki Kara at half spice. Pork buns and bao buns also receive praise, with some guests calling them a highlight of the meal. Customer feedback says vegetarian and non-pork choices may be limited; edamame is mentioned, along with a vegetable ramen that one reviewer said was not listed on the menu and did not include tofu. Availability and preparation can change, so guests with dietary preferences or restrictions should confirm options directly with the restaurant before ordering. For a lighter or refreshing accompaniment, the yuzu lemonade is a frequently praised pick. These practical details can help set expectations and make choosing a meal easier.

Reviews also describe a relaxing atmosphere, appealing decor, and fast, friendly service. One first-time visitor appreciated how a small staff worked together, while repeat customers mention returning for their favorite combinations. Nomiya may suit solo diners, couples, or friends looking for a casual ramen meal, especially if they enjoy pork broth, spicy options, buns, and a concise menu. Nomiya is phenomenal. As someone who lived in Japan for three years and is very serious about ramen, I don’t say this lightly: this is the best tonkotsu ramen I’ve had in the U.S. The 24-hour slow-cooked broth is rich, authentic, and deeply satisfying, and the toppings were absolutely perfect. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen with black garlic oil—unforgettable. The shop is adorable, beautifully decorated, and the service was incredibly sweet. I was honestly surprised by how reasonable the prices were for the quality—I would have happily paid more. The Demon Slayer sake was smooth and delicious, and everything felt thoughtful and intentional. This has easily become one of my favorite ramen spots in the country, and I can’t wait to come back.

I've been home for 16 days and have gone 4 times....Genuinely love this place more than life lol. I always go for the Geki Kara half spicy, pork buns, and the yuzu lemonade. Perfect every time!!! from a native New Orleanian out and about in the world now, I genuinely think of this place and my meals once a week. Must have

This place has a very VERY limited selection of menu items. There is NO VEGETARIAN OR NON PORK menu items besides the edamame and the off menu (why not put it on the menu if it’s a menu item???) veggie ramen. The veggie ramen doesn’t come with tofu either. On the flip side the Yuzu lemonade was fabulous and my brother said the pork ramen was very good. Prices are reasonable if you’re paying for meat but if you don’t eat pork I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Visited this place for the first time and the experience was great. They had a very small staff that took care of everything but they worked well together although they don’t say much to each other. The place had a very relaxing vibe, decor was great, and the ramen was excellent. It was a little too salty but good nonetheless.
