Sign in to reviewToday, after watching a game, my family and I stumbled upon Non’s Kitchen—a cozy spot that doesn’t seem to do much marketing, but wow, it deserves all the attention! The friendly owner recommended their bestsellers(shaken beef w rice, waterfall chicken, salmon salad. I have tried Grilled Pork Sandwich so which its was absolutely outstanding!
Non's is a hidden gem that has always been consistent with its Vietnamese food that pretty authentic. Its a great spot to hit before going to the Honda center or Angels stadium. Probably the best value too as prices have remained reasonable compared to the other shops. Staff is very friendly as well. This lot has had a lot of turnover with places not being able to stay open very long (seems like a property management issue) but im glad Non's has stuck around.
We ordered grilled pork, grilled chicken, salmon, and chicken pho. The rice was dry and the same with the pork. The salmon was decent. Chicken pho had a funny taste to it. The noodles seemed fresh, however. I was disappointed the beef stew I ordered was too spicy and they couldn't serve it. The staff was very nice. The place is clean. The best part was the propitious mango ice cream, which is locked up and heavily guarded. Would I come back here again? Hard to say. It seemed the majority of the patrons today were overflow from Lola's. Honestly just not up to par with other Vietnamese restaurants we've been to.
Considering how hard it was to find this place, I gave it a mere 4/5. Other than that my meal was terrific! The C3 Glazed Chicken, rice, and house salad hit the spot (maybe a few more pieces of lettuce and veggies in salad portion). Had to try the Vietnamese Iced coffee which was definitely worth it. Priced fairly decent for the quality and quantity of the dish. Pro tip; train staff to learn English. it’ll help boost customer satisfaction
This restaurant has really good chicken dishes and boba drinks. I tried chicken wings with rice and coconut matcha. I love it so much. So fresh
