Sign in to reviewI’m not really that picky with most veggie pho, so I knew Nong’s would be good, but DAAAANG! It was so tasty! The flavor of the broth, the veggies, the noodles… I was impressed to say the least. I had Edgar as my server and he was so sweet, helpful and charismatic. I can’t wait to be back soon!
Very good brother and pretty good pho. But they don't an pho with everything. Fresh and crispy spring rolls are ok.
It was my fist time trying Vietnamita food and it was a really good experience. Super fresh and tasty. Highly recommend. Maybe if you are two people, don’t need to order both for xtra noodles. Just with one xtra portion will be enough 🙂
The Baseline: For a Vietnamese cafe the Pho must be quality, the accompaniment add-in ingredients must be fresh, the meats must be well prepared, and menu must have authentic Vietnamese flavors. Food: I had a Banh Mi sandwich had a crusty bread and fresh ingredients to complement the sesame steak. The spring rolls were fresh and the peanut sauce was delicious and stuck to the roll after dipping. Service: Great service from the wait staff and they kept the water glasses full. The food was prepared efficiently and with care. Ambiance: The cafe was nicely decorated and functional. The bathrooms are clean and serviced regularly. The restaurant was clean and well taken care of and there is an outdoor patio.
Nong Lá is a great spot for a casual family dinner. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the dishes are usually really solid. We especially love their pho fillet mignon and house special. Only thing is the soups can be a bit inconsistent — sometimes they’re rich and flavorful, other times a little more bland. Still, overall a reliable place we enjoy going back to occasionally.
