Sign in to reviewThe food was phenomenal and the service was just as great. Everyone was so kind and attentive. The spicy edamame had an amazing spicy oil, the M&M roll had the perfect amount of heat, and the Mongolian beef with fried rice was full of a buttery flavor. The ambiance was also fantastic. I love sushi spots where you can watch them make the rolls. Overall, a 10/10 experience.
I’m so glad they opened another location closer to frisco! This place had amazing food and atmosphere. The food was amazing and the portions were huge. I believe I got the 44 roll- and I will definetely be back. The service was exceptional even though we came relatively close to the closing time. I loved the Richardson/ Dallas location for a long time but this place will be seeing me more!!
This is a cute spot. My friend invited me here for lunch and though the setting was nice, I was not impressed with the flavor of the food. I got the spring rolls which were fresh so no complaints there but I ordered chicken and broccoli and it was very lacking which could explain why everyone else was ordering sushi compared to the hot entree. The chicken was pale white as if they boil the chicken and the sauce was very slurry. Unsure but if I return I will not be ordering that again.
Our favorite sushi place. Flower, 44 roll (after taste is a spritz of lemon), Himalayan (cucumber base with fresh fish on top), and Dallas roll (so buttery, melts in your mouth). Each unique with amazing different flavors. Other places just don’t compare. I’m ruined on sushi because of this place.
We had an amazing dinner at Oishi tonight—easily a 10/10 experience. Everything we ordered was excellent: the salmon nigiri, yellowtail nigiri, Philly roll, Summer Rolls sushi bar, and the lychee martini. The presentation was beautiful, the portions were perfectly balanced, and every dish was thoughtfully prepared with sauces that complemented the flavors instead of overpowering them. The lychee martini was especially impressive—the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. A special shoutout to Sean, the front-of-house manager. He was incredibly friendly, took the time to chat with us, checked on us throughout our meal, and made some great recommendations that made the experience even better. You can tell Oishi uses high-quality, fresh ingredients and truly cares about both the food and the customer experience. We left impressed from start to finish and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
