Wow, with this being the comfort food I grew up with, they really do a great job. All the food was excellent. Fresh and tasty. No heavy feeling. Meat quality was excellent. And perhaps above all, for a relatively casual place, I am amazed that they make their own stuff grape leaves, which are served hot. Excellent! And for those not familiar with authentic food, this is a great spot! Very friendly and welcoming service as well.

We were visiting New Orleans to celebrate my birthday, and Olive was such a lovely find! 🥰 The food was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The hummus was so creamy, the falafel was crispy and delicious, and the shawarma was perfectly seasoned. The warm pita and fresh salad completed the meal perfectly. Everything tasted authentic and comforting, and the service was friendly and welcoming. Such a great casual spot for Mediterranean food while exploring NOLA. Definitely recommend Olive — we really enjoyed our birthday meal here and would happily come back! 💗

Food was a 6/10, beef had more fat then I expected. Rice was just okay, hummus was good the spicy sauce made it really good. The appetizer~fried cheese, it was a very small size and portion. The salad was swimming in dressing. I did enjoy what I could. I came here b.c the ratings and comments were good but they is not all that. I never like leaving bad reviews, so on a more positive besides the seats being a bit ripped irnote it was clean on the inside

Olive is great if you need lighter, healthier food options. It’s within walking distance of the French quarter. Service is quick, friendly, although the atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired compared to the rest of the restaurants I’ve been to in New Orleans. But great for healthy delicious option.

This is still my favorite restaurant in the United States after 5 years. 🔥 It has everything I look for: the feeling of home, incredible spices, amazing taste, and a warm, pleasant atmosphere. They truly have everything together. There’s something special about their food—the spices are magical and give every dish a unique flavor that you simply don’t find anywhere else. Five years later, and it’s still my favorite place to eat in USA 🇺🇸. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
