Sign in to reviewHad to try Pa Ord after eating an intentionally small meal at its neighbor, Amphai Northern Thai. We had belly room for Pad Thai and Spicy Curry Fried Catfish and steamed rice. Both were great at spice level “spicy,” but not Thai spicy. The noodles were very standard, but certainly not boring. The catfish was quite delectable, crisp and chewy at the same time and beautifully spiced with a sauce that clung to each piece of fish. Perfect with rice. Since there’s so many great options in ThaiTown, I’m not sure when we will return, but would certainly love to. Maybe we will do the 2-for-1 with Amphai again 😅.
Fantastic Thai place with great & friendly service. Tucks away in a corner of a small plaza and with small parking lot, but there is street parkings. Great vibe upon walking and felt the friendliness and great hospitality from the staff. The menu is filled with plenty of dishes with very decent price tag. Quick turnaround and the foods are very tasty and delish. We ordered 7 items total for $100 (w/o tip) and left over for lunch or brunch for one. Great dearly dinner late late lunch for sure, will come back for more when in the area.
Excellent Thai food restaurant. The boat noodles were excellent. The Pad Kra Pow was delicious and the papaya salad was great. All foods were spiced accurately to Thailand's authentic spice levels. So, if you're looking for legitimate Thai spice levels, come here. We had a great experience here and the food is memorable. Parking is very tight and limited as it is shared with other businesses in the lot. But, worth it. Will 1000% recommend for satisfying your Thai food cravings.
Pa Ord Noodle seriously impressed me. I ordered the Seafood Tom Yum Noodle Soup, and it was easily one of the best soups I’ve ever had. The broth had that perfect balance of tangy, spicy, and savory, with a rich depth that didn’t taste rushed at all. The seafood was fresh and generous, especially the shrimp and squid, and everything came together really well without overpowering each other. It was flavorful, comforting, and just the right amount of heat. I’d definitely come back just for that bowl alone.
This is by far the best pad see ew in LA hands down. The wok hei, the fermented soy beans, the crisp Chinese broccoli, and chewy rice noodles are perfection. I recommend crispy pork as your protein.
