This is probably one of the best Vietnamese spots with a wide selection of traditional and street food dishes. Papa Kitchen used to be Ong Lam. Food: The food is very good and tastes authentic. They offer a wide variety of dishes—from classic Vietnamese comfort food to street food favorites. The menu has a lot of options to explore if you like trying different things. They have many gluten-free and vegetarian options, which makes it easier for people like me with different dietary restrictions to dine here. Parking: Parking isn’t always easy depending on the time of day. If you go for lunch, you can sometimes find free street parking and a few spots in the retail parking garage. Just note that the spaces in the garage are small (more suitable for compact cars) and the clearance is low. If you drive a larger vehicle, be prepared to spend a bit more time looking for parking. Customer service: The staff are always friendly and engaging. I’ve been here several times and have never had any issues with service. They’re also happy to share recommendations and give their opinions if you ask. Vibe: The space is bright and airy with a Saigon-inspired interior design. It reminds me of home.

I recently visited Papa Kitchen and had an amazing experience. I ordered the rice with beef short ribs, and it was absolutely delicious. The short ribs were incredibly tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The portion was generous, and everything on the plate tasted fresh and well-prepared. What made the experience even better was the hospitality. The owners are genuinely some of the friendliest and kindest people I've met. They took the time to make us feel welcome and created such a warm, family-like atmosphere. It's clear that they truly care about both their food and their customers. The restaurant is cozy, clean, and comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. Between the outstanding food and the wonderful people running it, Papa Kitchen is a place I would happily recommend to anyone. I'll definitely be coming back for those beef short ribs again!

Great place for Vietnamese food (there aren’t many good ones in this neighborhood). Their bowls are delicious and portions are generous. I’ve been multiple times in the last few weeks. Ann and the other ladies running the restaurant are great hosts.
