Sign in to reviewWhether I'm dining in or taking out, I love coming here to get food. The owner and staff are incredibly nice and accommodating, and their food portion size have always left me full and satisfied (it's a lot of food). I consistently come back for their pho, grilled chicken or pork rice/vermicelli dishes, and their house special fried rice. I definitely recommend trying this place out if you're craving some good Vietnamese food!
This is our second time visiting Papayas Kitchen, and honestly, we were just as impressed as the first time. From our very first visit, the owner provided exceptional customer service. He even took the time to show us the traditional way of eating pho, the way it’s done in Asia, which made the experience feel much more authentic and special. On this second visit, the food once again exceeded our expectations. The pho had that same delicious and authentic flavor that we loved from the beginning. On top of that, what really stood out was the owner’s kindness. I asked if it was possible to add extra noodles (fully expecting to be charged), but he kindly told us it was on the house. That level of hospitality is hard to find. It’s rare to find a restaurant that has it all—great customer service, delicious food, and an authentic experience—but Papayas Kitchen truly delivers. It has become my wife’s and my favorite pho spot. I definitely recommend it. We had a hard time finding a place like this, especially after seeing other pho restaurants with poor reviews due to cleanliness issues, but this place completely exceeded our expectations. To top it all off, when we paid, the owner even gifted us a drink. And I want to be clear—this review isn’t because of that. I’m actually very picky when it comes to food, and this restaurant truly met my expectations. Thank you, Papayas Kitchen. We hope you continue providing such amazing food and outstanding customer service.👏
As a Vietnamese person, I can honestly say the pho here tastes very authentic. The broth is rich, clean, and flavorful without being too salty, and you can tell they spend a lot of time cooking it properly. The meat was fresh and the noodles had great texture. The owner was also incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. It feels like eating at a family-owned restaurant back home. You can really feel the care they put into both the food and the customers. Definitely one of the better Vietnamese spots I’ve tried in the area. I’ll be coming back again!
Recommend: The pho and fried rice both were flavorful, although the quality of the beef is average, the dishes still hit the mark. Okay: Fried Egg Rolls - they come with 4 and are very generous with the meat and ingredients.
Papaya Kitchen was the spot we've been looking for! Pho was just unbelievably tasty, aromatic and the best we've had in over a decade! Owner Mr. Alan was so courteous to us and made us feel so welcome. Came here on a date with my husband and we just both loved it! Best service and very generous portions. Loved both the Honey/ginger tea with its slices of ginger and the freshly made to order lemonade. Cannot go wrong with these selections! On the house ice cream and even packaged the portion of my meal I could sadly not eat haha The chicken and shrimp spring rolls with the peanut sauce topped with house made chili sauce was also our fave! We can't wait to come back. Thankful for his kindness and feeling of just slowing down and enjoying a very tasty meal. ❤️🔥
