Sign in to reviewHuge Indian/ Desi Groceries chain of stores nationwide, this one is massive with mega collections of all groceries, eatery, fresh veggies and sweets, etc...good customer service, keep up the good work 👍🤝💫, just visited first time...great ✨️ …
Very disappointed with Patel Brothers. I purchased a Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk chocolate that was well within its expiry date (packed on 24/01/2026, best before 29/12/2026), but when I opened it, the chocolate had a strange whitish, patchy appearance and looked like it had not been stored properly. This raises serious concerns about product quality and storage conditions. Stores should check the condition of the items they sell instead of just relying on the expiry date. Customers expect fresh, properly stored products, especially when paying full price. I hope Patel Brothers improves its quality control and removes damaged products from the shelves.
Severe decline in quality of the products.Amul Yogurt with use by date 30 days further tastes like rotten. May be left outside for too long, had to trash a 10$ container immediately after opening. Food handling protocols nowhere to be seen. Half the produce and fruits rot within first 2 days even though refrigerated. Their festive deals to save a dollar here and there isn't worth my family's health. Patels used to be landmark of quality , not anymore. They have discontinued other brands and clumped their entire pulse and spices to their instore swap brand, b- grade at best. Focus shifted from serving quality food to the Indian diaspora to paying hefty amount to Indian movie stars and parading them at the stores. Sad state of affairs, may not visit this location again. Entire bag of fruits rotten.
This Patel is one of the earliest establishment in DFW area and I love their inventory. The produce is fresh and other grocery items are always in stock. The store is clean and easy to maneuver inside the store. The staff is helpful and keeps the customers happy. There is an adjacent temple of Loknath Baba.
Today visited Patel brothers location at Plano , Most of the items are too expensive like Indian snacks, rice bags, coffee powder, frozen vegetables. Comparing to other locations the prices are high and available items are less . Not recommended for regular purchases in this location.
