TLDR: I hosted a wedding in New Orleans and Petal Salon knocked it out of the park with all event hair and makeup services. Plus, wedding guests also stopped by for manicures and pedicures over the weekend and were all thrilled with their services. I’d come back to New Orleans just to see them again! The day before my wedding, I had my hair and makeup trial with Amanda for the welcome party. I don’t normally get hair or makeup done, so I was nervous about the process but Amanda put me at ease with how she walked me through the makeup process and tailored my hair/makeup based on my initial feedback. She also listened to my concerns about my dry skin and carefully prepped my face with that in mind. She took notes from our trial and passed them onto Robyn, who would be my day-of hair and makeup artist. 10/10 experience with Amanda. And the day of the wedding was absolutely perfect with Robyn! She arrived on time and ready to prep the space for each person in the wedding party. We had a range of ages between 38 and 61, and she made all of us look and feel our absolute best on that day. I never thought I’d say this but I felt like the most beautiful version of myself on my wedding day, and it’s all thanks to Robyn. (I was so happy I could’ve cried but I wouldn’t want to mess up the makeup!!) My eyebrows never looked better, and I think I’ll be dreaming about my wedding day hair for years to come. She absolutely nailed the aesthetic I was hoping to see, and just as importantly, she made my mom and sister both feel like their absolute bests on the day. Robyn is exactly who you’d want with you on the morning of your wedding day, and I’m so glad she was part of mine. 10s across the board! Separately, two wedding guests visited Petal Salon for manicure and pedicures and both were super happy with their services. Definitely recommend to all your wedding guests!

This is a wonderful salon! I was looking for hair and makeup for my small wedding in Nola and Petal Salon blew me away! Not only is the salon beautiful and peaceful, but the women who run the salon are truly artists! With only a passing glance at the inspo pics, they absolutely nailed the vision! I can't wait to be back in Nola to visit! Thank you for making me feel beautiful!

I love Petal salon!! I have been coming here for about a year and a half and have gotten multiple services (hair, makeup, nails) and I am always very pleased. The girls are all so extremely kind and welcoming. Today I came in to get dip on my nails by Nita- she does my nails exactly how I love them. She pays attention to detail and makes them look very natural no matter if i get them short or go a little longer. I am also diabetic so to me it is very important to feel safe and clean while getting pedicures since that is a concern for most diabetics and here I have ZERO concerns. The owner Amanda is also so sweet and attentive. 10/10 recommended this salon to anyone looking to get pampered and feel pretty.

Petal Salon is so wonderful and peaceful! I’m always greeted with a warm welcome by everybody. My nail tech is Nita and she can do anything but I’m particularly fond of how even & neat she is with dip powder!!!! She’s very meticulous in her work and it shows. I leave happy ALWAYS!!! Don’t sleep on Petal Salon!!!
