Petit Beignets and Tapioca

First time here and it was a great experience! My friend and I got the popcorn chicken, petit beignet, Thai tea and lychee green. Beignets came out hot and super fluffy! The food was delicious and the drinks were refreshing. Service was very friendly and the food came out quick. Will definitely come back!

There are a ton of ramen package options, free, unlimited fresh veggies, and then extra protein add-ons for cheap. It’s quick and easy to make your ramen. They also offer various banh mi options, and of course beignets. Let me just say, these have got to be the best beignets I’ve had in Houston so far (and I’ve had a lot of them). Perfect balance in flavor, texture, and size. They are light and fluffy, too, so you don’t feel like you’ve overeaten on these delicious treats! They come in different sizes/shapes with 3 different sauce choices. The people there are very friendly and helpful, too, with fun music to add to the atmosphere (neither too loud nor too quiet). Lots of tables for dine-in as well. I’ll definitely be back!

Matcha is perfectly potent & just the right amount of sweetness! Hand whisked and eaten with a juicy roast pork banh mi on the side. Bread is flakey and authentic! Full of Vietnamese mayo and flavor. Yum!

Went to Petit Beignets and Tapioca and had a great first visit. I walked in with no wait; a small line formed while I was eating, but it moved quickly. The employees were really engaging and checked in to see if anyone needed guidance—especially with the build-and-cook-your-own ramen concept, which seems new for some folks in the area. I ordered a Matcha Milk Tea for $6.82 after tax and the Classic Beignet for $8.66 after tax. The vibe is comforting and the music fit the space (sounded like K-pop, though I’m not 100% sure). What really sold me (and what will bring me back) is the Matcha Milk Tea: it was well-priced and not filled to the brim with ice like so many places do. They didn’t ask me for an ice level, but they used what I’d call a perfect default—just enough to keep it cold without turning it into an “ice cup.” I genuinely wish more boba places did this by default, because I’d rather ask for more ice than constantly have to ask for less. The flavor was great, the boba was tasty, and I appreciated that the cashier asked if I wanted boba instead of automatically adding it. The beignets were big and absolutely covered with powdered sugar—presentation was excellent. They came out hot and didn’t feel greasy, so they were clearly drained well. They taste like what you’d expect: sweet, fluffy bread with powdered sugar. The Classic beignets were a bit cumbersome to eat because of the size, so next time I’ll try the petite beignets instead. Overall, this is a spot I can genuinely see myself coming back to more than most places around here. Well-deserved 5 stars. Update: Before leaving, I ordered a drink to-go and asked the cashier for a recommendation since I couldn’t decide. They were genuinely happy to help and suggested the Saigon Lemon Green Tea or the Orange & Pineapple Green Tea. I went with the Saigon Lemon for $6.48 after tax. It was tart with a bit of sweetness and the lemon flavor was subtle. The main thing I noticed was a perfume-y/floral aftertaste—it didn’t taste bad at all and I can see some people really liking it, but it’s just not my personal preference. It also had more ice than my matcha milk tea. Next time I try one of their fruit teas, I’ll ask if less ice is an option.

One of my favourite boba places! And their beignets are really good as well. Very cute ramen bar to hang out and chill with friends. Definitely recommend!
