Sign in to reviewWe went to try this restaurant during its 3 days grand opening with 30% discount. We wanted to try the Tom yum Thai seafood hot pot but we were told all hotpots are not available yet.The spring rolls were ok. The Wagyu steak with salted egg sauce was disappointed. I wondered if it's Wagyu... The runny sauce is mayo base with a little touch of salted egg. The laughing cow cheese wedge is found in the middle of the dish, half melted. The Vermicelli noodles with shrimp and crab is so so but has potential for a great dish. Lots of crab meat as topping. The seafood fried rice is good. The service is chaotic. The waiters/waitress delivered the dishes to the wrong table. We probably won't visit this restaurant again.
im very satisfied with the crab pasta,my friend have wagyu salted egg yolk .it really made me want to come back many more times.the staff are fast.what impressed me most is that the restaurant is clean, beautiful and has a very soft calming color scheme.i highly recommend this restaurant 🤩
came here with my mom for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. she got the mi vit (duck noodle soup) and i got the bo wagyu sot trung muoi (wagyu beef in salted egg sauce). the beef was insanely tender and the sauce was really good, there was plenty of it too so i was able to mop up a lot of it with lettuce or bread. eggs and tomatoes were nice. the pate was a tiny bit gamey which i didnt mind, but my mom wasnt a fan. i tried some of her mi vit and it was pretty good, soup was sweet and mild and not too much of a "ducky" taste, and the duck itself was very tender too i would say a good point of comparison would be nep cafe over by mile square park; it gets a bit loud over there, waits can be ridiculous, and the prices are a bit higher/dishes are a bit more bougie. so if you prefer a cozier atmosphere and a simpler palate then go to petit saigon. definitely coming back soon
Service has gotten way better lately and the pho is really good. Definitely a solid spot if you're craving something warm and authentic. Has a lot of variety as well.
Petit Saigon restaurant really deliver quality dishes and nice atmosphere. I don’t know how people leave bad reviews for a place that is still under soft opening, sounds sketchy to me. The banh canh cua (crab udon) was flavorful, noodle had a nice chewy texture and most important of all the pork meat did not have a funky smell. If you eat banh canh cua around OC you will know what I’m talking about! Their mi vit tiem (braised duck egg noodle) was also really good, has a nice aroma without empowering strong smell of duck. I will come back and try more items on their menu soon!
