Sign in to reviewgreat vietnamese OG spot - known for their rice/egg noodles. Can recommend dry thick egg noodles (comes with a soup in the side). Also the beef rice was good.
Service with a smile. Our food came out quickly and hot. My wife found the food to be authentic and flavorful to her taste.
Every time I visit Houston, stopping here is a must! I can’t find hủ tiếu khô like this anywhere in DFW. I always get the dry noodles with the soup on the side and an extra side of their sauce. Mix everything together and add some of their pickled jalapeño…chef’s kiss! The restaurant is very spacious with plenty of seating for both small and large groups. Service is fast, and everyone is super friendly. If you haven’t tried this place yet, you definitely should!
Another new spot try out, this place must be a hot spot within the community. Because it’s packed during the off hours. The bread w the cream sauce was just awesome. This is one you need to try for such a simplistic dish. The Pork Bone was another definitely worth trying as it was cooked to perfection. This reminded me of a BBQ pork shoulder. The soup for me, compared to other establishments, was kind of bland. This was lacking, but definitely made up for it with the other dishes. Service was lacking, but as I noted they were packed! (See pic) We didn’t get our drinks until after asking 3 different people. With that many people, it may be loud on your visit as well, just to be aware. There was also definitely a language barrier, but nothing that couldn’t be resolved with a point of a finger on the menu item desired. Parking was also difficult, so try parking on the side of the restaurant. As the front was definitely difficult to get a spot. You may be waiting a while. While it didn’t hit my top spots, it’s worth checking out if you’re into authentic fresh flavors. Until next time.
"Both the dry and soup Hu Tieu here are delicious! The restaurant is spacious and always busy. Server speak limited English but are very attentive. This place seems to be a favorite among the local Vietnamese community — I didn’t see any non-Vietnamese customers the whole time I was there. The spring rolls are also tasty with flavorful dipping sauce. Overall, great food at reasonable prices!"
