I have never had a problem refilling medicine before. The lady that "helped" me today made things way more complicated than it needed to be. I couldn't remember the second medication that I needed to get refilled (I forgot the label in the car). Normally they can tell me what can be refilled, but NOPE, she was insisting that I know the name. After struggling to remember the complicated names of all the prescriptions she offered very limited help. She named 2 medications, one I didn't recognize and the second one that sounded familiar, so I assumed that was the one I needed. I asked if there was anything else that could be refilled (there's too many medications to keep track of) and again she wasn't trying to help, she just gave me a blank look like I was asking too much. On top of not being helpful she only put in part of the order so I had to wait another 15 minutes after the original order was ready, she only ordered one of the 2 medications. Once I got to my car I saw the label of the second medicine that needed to be refilled. It wasn't one that got refilled so I had to go back to the pharmacy. An hour and a half of my time wasted! Rude!😡 I'll be going to Otay Mesa pharmacy from now on.

Kaiser Bonita is particularly difficult to deal with in my experience. They always seems to need to request a refill from my doctor, which takes 48 more hours, when my KP app showed it as being available to pickup. This latest visit I was out of medication and the assistant helping me, told me “I don’t know what to tell you, you can go to the nearest emergency or go to another Kaiser pharmacy.” Again, my KP App showed it as available to fill, and I’ve never had any problems picking up my medication from other Kaiser pharmacies?? This is probably the sixth time I go to fill my RX at this pharmacy and I have to jump through hoops when I get to the counter and wait a couple extra days for my medication to be ready. Once or twice is excusable but this many times is pretty disappointing.

Never had any problems. Lines can be long sometimes, but you can skip the pharmacy visit altogether with mail order refills.

In regards to little miss window 4 at 8:30 this morning; Keep your thoughts on who is paying for what to yourself. I know pharmacists make their living from soulless corporations that could care less if we die in the streets (and even left us there in Kaiser’s case (patient dumping in Skid Row, anyone? Sickening.)), but you could *pretend* to care. Or just shut your face. I’m disabled. As implied by the medication i have to take, my immune system is trying to kill me and i’m in constant pain. Had my original docs actually tried to do something about this when i brought it up 17 years ago instead of attempting to upsell me a test i didn’t need, i might not be in the boat i’m in now. I might have caught it early and treated it before it spiraled out of control. But hey, why help when you can profit and then disparage the victims of this broken, pathetic system? Tell me, do you feel good about your job? Regardless, i’m fighting (and have been) to get back into the work force.. even though i don’t have to. So keep your ignorant comments to yourself. Thanks so much!
