Phnom Penh Hu Tieu Nam Vang

I have lived in Houston for year's and just barely discovered this hidden gem. Atmosphere is like any Mom and Pop Pho spots, but the Phnom Penh Noodles flavor is not your typical. The broth was so flavorful. I loved it so much I did not need to add anything additional it was good as is. I personally don't like the slices of liver, but you can always ask not to include that, yes I know its supposed to be good for you it's more of a texture thing for me. The Ladies are super friendly and service was fast. Definitely going to make this my new Noodle soup spot. ❤️

I had an incredible experience at this Phom Penh Hu Tieu Nam Vang I was just passing by, and it turned out to be a happy accident. From the moment I walked in, the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Their customer service is outstanding — they make you feel welcome and go the extra mile to ensure you have a great dining experience. The food here is just as impressive. Every dish, especially the pho, is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and packed with flavor. The noodles are perfectly cooked, the broth is rich and savory, and the portions are generous. This is definitely a place I’ll be coming back to for authentic Vietnamese cuisine and exceptional service!

The Hu Tieu Nam Vang (Phnom Penh Noodle Soup) was fantastic. It came loaded with all kinds of proteins (slices of pork, shrimp, pork ribs and bones, ground pork, quail egg, and liver), aromatics, and vegetables, creating a complex bowl of noodle soup. The broth was smooth and flavorful, with a good pork taste from the bones and ribs. The dish was topped with fried pork skins, and served with a side of vegetables, including blanched bean sprouts and lettuce, along with some pickled peppers. The servers were very friendly, and it was quite busy on the Friday afternoon I visited. Great experience, and I plan to come back for more and try their other dishes.

It was a good bowl of Hu Tieu Nam Vang, but not exactly mind-blowing. The broth was clean and the toppings were fresh, but the overall flavor was a bit safe. It's a solid, reliable spot if you're in Houston, though it didn't quite hit that 'wow' factor for me.

Came here for early lunch on a Saturday. Food was delicious. We got Hu Tieu Nam Vang. Broth was tasty and it wasn’t too oily or salty. I’ve had richer broth before but it wasn’t flavorless. I liked that the pork provided was tender and flavorful. Service was quick and the restaurant was clean and charming.
