Sign in to reviewAmazing place after we went windsurfing in Alameda! Good: - Loved the papaya salad - super fresh and also the spice added a lot - Singapore noodles had a huge portion size - had good curry sauce but a tad too plain - The chicken boneless eggroll dish was so unique! I don't think I could have finished it though since it was huge - Fried banana and sesame ice cream was so memorable, definitely get it - The service was so fast, and they checked in so often - Cute spot for a date day! Loved how clean and sunny it was inside Bad: - The meal was on the more expensive side but we shared a lot! Overall enjoyed the experience a lot here and would recommend!
This place is probably one that serves very authentic Cambodian food but it's no place for a hungry vegetarian to venture into. There aren't many explicit options and a few of them could be made without meat. I found the flavors lacking which were only over compensated by large portion sizes. Strangely the food tasted better reheated the next day after I added some soy sauce and eggs on the wok. It is probably what this place is best for - comfort food eaten as take out.
Ordered the eggplant lunch special and it did not disappoint 🍆✨. The flavor was delicious, the portion was filling, and the service was excellent 🙌. I visited Cambodia last year and loved the energy of the restaurant 🇰🇭💛. The vibrant colors, beautiful arches, and the refreshing breeze from outside made the atmosphere so enjoyable 🌿🌸. After my meal, I had a lovely conversation with the server, which made the experience even more memorable 💬😊.
So yummy! Very fresh ingredients. The meats are tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked (not overly fried or overly salty- just a great balance of flavor!). Not crowded. Neighborhood gem. Easy street parking. Freshly squeezed lemonade was delicious. Sweet polite and quick service as well!
incredible food!! can’t believe i’d never been before. we had the curry/tamarind fish soup with pineapple and coconut. delicious. we also had the whole fried pompano with a “3 spicy flavor” sauce that was very flavorful indeed! lastly my bf had the barbecue grilled pork chop dish with a vinegary lemongrass type of sauce. please eat here!!! they are so friendly and you can tell they put a lot of care into their food and service.
