Does this place have the best service? Not really at all - they're fine. Is the atmosphere amazing? Also not really - at best this is also fine. I mean it seems clean, the bathrooms are nice, I like the out of control plants by the windows and I love the Asian food harvesting and cooking videos they have on their one tv. Its all a vibe and I'm here for it. Now this place is in fact a restaurant. The pho slaps. Thank god it slaps because for all intents and purposes that is the only thing they serve (I think they also have spring rolls but I only ever order pho). I have lost track of how many times I've been here. When I walk in, I stand at the please wait to be seated sign. 90%+ of the time I am gestured to sit wherever and I am brought a menu and water and or tea (sometimes they ask which one I want sometimes they just bring whatever - I don't care both are great for me - I could probably ask but I'm shy). They leave for a couple minutes and come back and ask what I want. I order pho. They bring out the fixins - bean sprouts, jalapeno, lime, and Thai basil. Shortly after I get my bowl of pho. The amount of noodles and meat I get varies from visit to visit. Somehow it always seems like the right amount - they know my body better than I do I guess. I devour the pho and then pay at the counter and leave. They get you in and out and you get to eat amazing pho at probably one of the best prices in Seattle. I made this post because I saw some losers complaining about the service here and that is not what this place is about. They exist to feed us great pho - if you want the red carpet rolled out for you then go somewhere else. If you want amazing pho without worrying about all the frills of modern Seattle restaurants this is the place. Cheers
They have remodeled since the last time,I was there. It looked very nice. The food was good the egg rolls were not the same,2 long skinny ones, filled mostly with veggies not as good as I remember, they might of changed ownership, also. I did not pay for my food, I was treated, so don't know how much the prices have went up?
Decided to give this place a try and they did not disappoint. I got their pho tai and it was amazing. The meat was nice and tender, generous portion of vegetables, and GOATED BROTH. The one thing I’d note is how their pho doesn’t have that much onion if you’re a big fan of that like me. Regardless, it was still super good just like any other reviews.
Place got some awesome beef rib pho and BBH.
Still the best pho in Seattle; fast and friendly service. As soon as I sat down, the server brought me a one page laminated menu, and two minutes later I got my bowl of piping hot pho. This spot on Rainier got remodeled; the inside is now brighter and that old dreary tree painting on the ceilings gone. You have the options to pay cash or cards (cash being a bit cheaper than cards, whereas last time it was cash only) They no longer served rice or stir fry noodles dishes, only pho now. I wish they would serve bun bo hue here like the one on Jackson also.
