Pho Chandler is a Vietnamese restaurant at 4055 S Arizona Ave #8 in Chandler, Arizona, serving guests who are looking for familiar Vietnamese noodle soups and flavorful dishes in a small, casual setting. The menu includes pho, Bun Bo Hue, Banh Xeo and other choices mentioned by diners. With a 4.6-star rating from 1,409 reviews, the restaurant has drawn many local customers, though reviews also note that the dining room is small and a wait is possible, especially later in the afternoon or evening. It can be a good fit for a relaxed meal when you have time to enjoy your food, or for picking up pho to take home.
Pho is a standout choice for guests who want a warm, comforting bowl. One popular combination pairs sliced eye-round steak and well-done brisket with rice noodles. A customer ordering this pho to go said the meal was ready in less than the estimated 15 minutes and was packed with care; staff even asked whether the steak should be cooked for the order. Seafood pho is another option, with one diner describing its broth as clean and pleasant. These details make Pho Chandler worth considering for a satisfying noodle soup, whether you plan to eat in or bring your meal along.
For a bolder bowl, diners mention Bun Bo Hue, the spicy Vietnamese beef-and-noodle soup. One review praises its rich, complex beef broth, with brown-spice and lemongrass notes, tender beef, and chewy noodles, along with moderate heat. Another guest enjoyed the kick from the regular spice level but felt the broth did not have the depth they expected. That range of impressions is helpful if you are deciding what to order: Bun Bo Hue offers a noticeably spicier, more aromatic alternative to pho, while the seafood pho has been appreciated for its clean-tasting broth. Spice and broth preferences are personal, so guests may want to ask the staff about the heat level.
There is more to explore beyond soup. Banh Xeo, the crispy rice crepe, is a dish guests have enjoyed, and reviews also call out spicy garlic edamame and green beans as tasty sides. One diner celebrated a birthday at the restaurant and tried oxtail pho, showing that the menu can suit a special meal as well as an everyday visit. The overall experience described by customers combines flavorful plates, fresh herbs and ingredients, and prompt, friendly service. Because the restaurant is small, arriving with some flexibility is sensible during busier periods; takeout may be convenient when you prefer to enjoy your meal elsewhere.
Pho Chandler is open Monday and Wednesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and closed Tuesday. Its Chandler location makes it a practical option for nearby residents and visitors seeking Vietnamese food in the area. Whether you are craving steak-and-brisket pho, curious about the fragrant heat of Bun Bo Hue, or in the mood for a crisp Banh Xeo, the menu offers several ways to make a comforting meal. Very quick service for my Pho for to go. I ordered P3 on the menu , Phở Tái Nạm - Sliced eye round steak, well done brisket and rice noodle. They say it would take 15 minutes, however my order was ready in under 10 minutes. It was very nice packed , they even asked if they could cook the steak for me who I was going to request actually. Two people can easily eat one soup.
Expect a wait and prompt, friendly service. We’ve enjoyed Crispy Rice Crepe- Banh Xeo and Pho. Normal spice level for Bun Bo Hue had nice kick at the end but missed the depth of broth I was used to. The seafood pho’s broth was nice and clean. Overall, a good meal.
The bún bò Huế here was amazing. It has a rich, complex beef broth with flavors of brown spices and lemongrass, and there was a moderate amount of spiciness. The beef was tender, and the noodles were cooked perfectly, so they stayed chewy. The bún chả giò tôm thịt nướng was great and had a large portion of rice vermicelli and vegetables. The pork was marinated with a unique sweet sauce, there was a generous amount of shrimp, and the egg roll was packed and even stayed crunchy after adding the sweet and umami fish sauce. The sauce, however, was too subtle when everything was mixed together. Overall, the portions are large, but the higher prices reflect this. The service was friendly and quick, and there is plenty of seating.
Small restaurant so if you go late in the afternoon / evening expect a wait. Well worth the wait tho. Each plate is packed with flavor. Fresh herbs and ingredients you can taste. The spicy garlic adamame and green beans are delicious. We …
Let us pho-cus on the good things in life. We came here recently to celebrate a birthday. While I usually get whatever combination pho the place has to offer, I decided to get the oxtail pho this time to spice it up. Another review had misled me said the meat was picked off the bone, which I was all for that evening. Imagine my surprise when the meat was served on the bone! I didn't want to sit there chewing on tail so I took half my pho and all the meat home. No worries. Meat is always more flavorful on the bone anyways. I was just trying to not embarrass myself in front of others, haha! Skip the spring rolls. The peanut sauce isn't robust. Stick to the egg rolls and you'll be happy!
