I finally had the pleasure of dining at Pho Doc in Grand Prairie, TX, and it did not disappoint! From the moment we arrived, Tom provided excellent service—he was friendly, professional, attentive, and punctual throughout our visit. I ordered the oxtail pho, and wow—it was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. The broth alone warmed my soul, and the oxtails were so tender they practically fell off the bone. Every bite was comforting and satisfying. The food and customer service were both a 10/10. If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful pho and outstanding hospitality, I highly recommend Pho Doc. I will definitely be visiting often!

This was the perfect location for a meetup. We were met immediately after walking in and advised to sit anywhere. Our server Tony came over immediately. He offered exceptional, friendly and attentive service. The salt and pepper shrimp was my favorite. The Rice with orange chicken, Pan fried rice noodle combo plate (shrimp, chicken and beef) and the Crab Rangoon (6pcs) were all just ok. The Crab Rangoon was mostly cream cheese with little to no crab. The entree portions were very generous. Although, they offered great value, the experience was slightly disappointing. The atmosphere was very relaxed with great music but it was quite chilly inside. I might give them another try, maybe.

Based on google reviews we picked the restaurant since we were in the area. Immediately we walked in the floor are sticky, pho noodle medium size is the small in other DFW pho place. Condiment and veggies for the pho looks dry and old. Spring rolls are dry like from 3 days pre made. Broccoli beef rice looks like beef were drowning in sauce. Food service are slow. Restroom are dirty. Will not come back.

My friend and I recently tried this place after she saw some good reviews on social media recommending this place. We came on a Saturday afternoon and the place had a lot of customers going in and out. I will say that the customer service is really good. We ordered the salt and pepper shrimp, which came out pretty lukewarm and didn’t have any sauce accompanying the dish. The staff was pretty nice and bringing out what they have after we requested something to eat it with. I do wish the dish was hot and not on the warm cold side. It would’ve made it a seven out of 10 for me. I ordered the chicken pho with dark meat, and although the broth was OK, I definitely had some complaints. The pho came out lukewarm as well and wasn’t piping hot as I normally like. I typically order pho with dark meat however, the meat that was served was aesthetically, not pleasing, and honestly looks like a wild chicken butchered and added to my bowl. This was beyond dark meat, pretty veiny, really dark purple pieces of meat, pieces of boiled chicken skin, and I was completely turned off. My friend did ask on my behalf for a side of white meat to replace the dark meat I kept taking out of my bowl, which was nice of them to do. My friend ordered an oxtail pho and she enjoyed it for the most part, but also was a little bit turned off by the meat and how veiny it was. Not all pieces were like that to be fair. She also did get a charge for extra oxtail that she didn’t ask for. The lady that originally took our order was no longer in the restaurant by the time we paid so we told another staff member and he ended up bringing out cash instead of refunding the money on the card. Because my friend had experience working in food, she believes he probably took out money from his own tip to do so and we’ve really feel bad for that. My friend also made it a point to ask if they had specifically Ocean Spray cranberry juice, and the waitress assured her that they serve that however when it was brought out, it didn’t taste anything like she requested. Again, she has experience in the food industry and knows what she’s talking about so it was a little disappointing that the waitress wasn’t a little bit more forthcoming. I would give this place a try again because our food wasn’t terrible, but I wouldn’t make my way all the way from Dallas to Grand Prairie to do so in all fairness. I did like the customer service though and thought they were pretty kind. If you’re in the area, I would still try this out and I love the abundance of dessert, places nearby in the area or even bubble tea places to make us a nice foodie experience.

I was very disappointed with my today’s order from Pho Duc in Grand Prairie. Unfortunately the quality did not match the price. The Korean beef dish had fresh vegetables such as lettuce, cucumber etc that appeared slimy and did not seem fresh. The food also had an unusual smell that made my kids feel uncomfortable about eating it. In addition, we ordered two orders if same fried rice, but the rice in each container looked completely different in color and appearance. The rice had very little flavor and tasted strange. Overall, the food quality was not what I expected, and I felt that the meal was not worth the amount I paid. I hope the restaurant pays closer attention to food freshness and consistency in the future. My experience was not satisfactory at all.
