Sign in to reviewThis location presents serious concerns regarding cleanliness, sanitation, and management oversight. The surrounding public areas, including the sitting and dining area, the hallway leading to the restroom, and the restroom itself, appear visibly neglected and insufficiently maintained. The walls in these areas show clear signs of dirt buildup, staining, scuffing, surface damage, and a lack of regular cleaning. Visible dust was also present on some surfaces, further reinforcing the impression that basic sanitation and upkeep are not being consistently addressed. Based on the visible condition alone, management should be able to answer when the walls in the full surrounding area were last properly cleaned, including the sitting and dining area and the hallway leading to the restroom. The restroom conditions are especially concerning. In addition to graffiti, visible mess, and poor general upkeep, the restroom floor seemed incredibly sticky and appeared to have dried urine buildup present. That condition is unsanitary, unacceptable, and should never be present in a customer-accessible restroom. These observations raise even greater concern about the cleanliness of the kitchen and adjacent food preparation areas. When customer-facing areas are being maintained at this level, it is entirely reasonable to question whether proper sanitation standards are being followed where food is actually being made. After reading other negative reviews from customers, it is clear that these concerns may not be isolated. Management should take customer reviews very seriously, as they are direct feedback on the overall performance of the store, its staff, and its management. Repeated negative feedback reflects a pattern that demands attention, not dismissal. Overall, this reflects a serious breakdown in routine cleaning, facility maintenance, and management accountability. The condition of the premises does not reflect acceptable cleanliness standards and warrants immediate corrective action and formal review.
Best Pho in San Jose in my Opinion! The Steak Pho is absolutely incredible and the Calamansi Drink from the tea spot inside is to die for. 5 stars! NEVER Disappointed leaving this place. Chef's Kiss!
Pho Hoa + Jazen Tea on Tully Rd has the bones of a solid Vietnamese spot, but it’s been coasting for too long. The broth lacks depth, often tasting watered down, and the boba drinks—while varied—don’t always hit the mark. Popcorn chicken and spring rolls are decent, but not memorable. Service is fast, but not always attentive, and the dining area, while spacious, can feel impersonal. It’s a place that gets the job done, but rarely leaves you wanting to come back. What makes it underrated isn’t hidden quality—it’s that people expect more and settle for less. The late-night hours and combo menu draw crowds, but the consistency just isn’t there. With a little more care in flavor and presentation, it could stand out. For now, it’s more of a backup option than a go-to.
Pretty good pho place. Service is quick and we were seated swiftly. The menu has a lot of different choices but it’s good to focus on the pho. After choosing what to eat on the menu we quickly ordered. After a bit of time we got the food. It was a pretty big bowl for the large pho. It was really tasty both the noodles and the broth. The rolls were also good to eat; though not as good as the pho.
This was my husband’s favorite place 7 years ago. When we’re back to the Bay area, my husband was upset because he couldn’t find it in the old location. Glad we could find it again via Google Maps. The food was good, actually good Pho compared to many Vietnamese restaurants. The spring rolls were delicious. And, I love the combo they have for Pho + tea. Service was quick and the restaurant was spacious. We’ll talk come again!
