Definitely recommend Pho Hoa!! The food was so amazing, some of the best Pho and chicken wings we’ve ever had. The portions were huge, and the prices surprised us for how much they give you. We ordered the pho with everything, including tendon, tripe, and beef shank, and they absolutely packed the bowls. They definitely don’t skimp on the good stuff! The wings were some of the best we’ve had, and the spring roll sampler was great too, especially the beef one. We called about 30 minutes before closing, and they happily took our order, had everything steaming hot when we arrived, and never made us feel rushed. Two extra-large phos were only about $34, and our entire meal with 2 XL pho, wings, six spring rolls, and a Vietnamese beer was around $65. Amazing food, generous portions, great prices, and genuinely kind service. We’d be here all the time if we lived closer!

Pho Hoa is a well known Vietnamese establishment serving up good size bowls of Pho as well as other Vietnamese dishes right outside of the Boston area. We came here near closing, but they were still welcoming to serve us and brought our food out quickly. The staff were attentive to our drinks as well as bringing out condiments and other dishes. There is plenty of seating throughout the restaurant. We got the Rare Beef Pho and the Bun Bo Hue Dac Biet. They offer two sizes, and we got the smaller size. The Bun Bo Hue Dac Biet came with sizeable portions of meat, and the broth wasn't too spicy but more savory. The Rare Beef Pho had a few slices of meat, a lil lacking in my opinion, but the broth was good and savory, with a hint of saltiness that was a bit strong. They offer bean sporuts and other condiments as well, and it was quite good. Overall a solid spot.

If you're in Dorchester areas you must try this Vietnamese restaurant. I had the special vermicelli noodle bowl. It was amazing!!! My husband had pho. He loves his too.

I come here once in a while whenever I crave pho, but during my last visit, it was very late and I wanted something a bit healthier—and all of a sudden, I was craving lobster! …

There are two types of people in Dorchester: those who know Pho Hoa is elite, and those who haven’t eaten here yet. I’m fairly convinced their Phở Đặc Biệt (House Special) has actual healing properties. The beef broth is so rich, aromatic, and deeply flavorful that one bowl can solve roughly 80% of life’s daily stresses. It arrives at your table steaming hot, fast enough to break the laws of physics, accompanied by a mountain of fresh herbs, bean sprouts, and jalapeños that I always promise I’ll use sparingly before dumping the entire plate in anyway. A few ground rules for first-timers: 1. Get the egg rolls (Chả Giò). They are dangerously crispy, and sharing them will test even the strongest friendships. 2. Wear dark clothes. Sucking up rice noodles while attempting to maintain dignity is a sport, and the broth will splash. 3. Pace yourself. The portions are huge, but you will still attempt to finish every last drop like you’re searching for buried treasure at the bottom of the bowl. The staff runs this place with military-grade efficiency! You’re seated, fed, and fully restored before you’ve even had time to fully process how hungry you were. Pho Hoa is a local legend for a reason. 10/10, no notes, will be back next week (or as soon as I need another soul-restoring bowl of soup).
