Pho Hoang is a Vietnamese restaurant at 3827 US-301 in Riverview, FL, serving guests looking for Vietnamese food in the Tampa Bay area. Its menu includes pho, bun noodle dishes, rice platters, spring rolls, and crab rangoon, based on dishes mentioned by diners. The restaurant has a 4.3-star rating from 949 reviews, offering local diners one useful point of reference while they decide where to eat. As with any restaurant, individual experiences can vary, and customer feedback reflects both enjoyable visits and occasions when the meal or service did not meet expectations.
Pho is a central part of the restaurant’s identity, and reviewers describe visiting to enjoy it alongside conversation about pho around Tampa Bay. Other reported choices include chicken pho, bun, and combination rice platters. One guest who wanted bun received rice platters instead, so it may be helpful to confirm an order when it arrives, especially if you have a specific dish in mind. The reviews also mention crab rangoon and spring rolls as appetizers. One diner enjoyed the crab rangoon’s flavor, while finding the rolls and peanut sauce less satisfying.
The atmosphere is described in different ways, but some guests find Pho Hoang cozy, welcoming, calm, and unpretentious—a setting that can suit a relaxed meal or a lunch with colleagues. One review highlights a staff member’s menu knowledge and kindness, while other diners report slow service, order-entry mistakes, or confusion about the layout and bill. These differing accounts give prospective guests a balanced picture: some visits feel especially comfortable and attentive, while service and the overall experience may not be consistent for everyone.
Pho Hoang may be worth considering for people in Riverview who want pho or other familiar Vietnamese dishes, whether meeting coworkers for lunch or stopping in for a casual meal. The reviews point to a menu with noodle and rice options, plus appetizers to share, though they do not establish that every item is available at all times. If you are deciding between bun and a rice platter, stating your choice clearly and checking the order can help avoid the kind of mix-up one customer described. Guests who value unhurried, welcoming surroundings may appreciate the atmosphere reported by some diners.
The restaurant is open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday and Wednesday through Sunday, and is closed Tuesday. It is located at 3827 US-301, Riverview, FL 33578, United States. These details can help with planning a visit, particularly if you are coming for lunch or dinner from elsewhere in the Tampa Bay area. Pho Hoang’s customer feedback includes praise for food and hospitality as well as criticism of service, seating, and order accuracy. Read together, the reviews suggest a neighborhood dining option with Vietnamese favorites and a range of guest experiences, rather than a guarantee that every visit will be the same.

Just OK, Wait staff didn't correctly enter 3 our of the 4 orders we place, got rice platters vs the noodles (Bun) we wanted. We'll prepared, just not what we wanted. There are definitely better Vietnamese restaurants available.
Joined some colleagues here for lunch. Had a great time talking about the great Pho around Tampa Bay. Had the crab rangunand spring rolls as appetizer. Loved the crabs, great flavor. Rolls where so so. The peanut sauce was lacking something, like more peanuts for my taste buds. Ordered the Chicken Pho Medium, wow is it big. Large must come in a pot! The broth was delicious with right amount of star Anise and fat. The chicken came hand shredded which is best way. The garnishes came in a large family style plate. Service: Was quite slow for lunch time. Although we got there before the big crowd and ordered before everyone else arrived. Atmosphere: chill place, just a typical lunch place atmosphere.
Pho Hoang is one of those places that feels instantly welcoming. It has a cozy, inviting charm that puts the focus where it should be on amazing food and thoughtful service. The atmosphere is calm and unpretentious, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a relaxed meal. The combination rice platter is my favorite. It’s packed with flavor and always hits the spot. I also really enjoy the shrimp spring rolls. They’re fresh and light, and the peanut sauce adds just the right touch of richness. The limeades deserve their own shoutout. Each one I’ve tried has been incredibly refreshing. I usually sip one while I eat and end up taking another with me. Pho Hoang is the kind of spot that quietly becomes your favorite without even trying.
Kenneth was Amazing! Really Knowledgeable on the menu and extremely kind to us our entire visit! He was very kind and the food was amazing! 100/10, We will definitely be back again as soon as possible 😁 …
Okay experience. Slow service maybe due to being understaffed. Food was okay. My pho noodle was dry and hard. The layout of the restaurant caused some confusion. I had idea where the main counter was. Seating was tight. We were given the wrong bill. It was a good thing we checked because our bill was a lot lower $70 compared to $130. Will I go back. Probably not.
