The staff was so friendly. They have us some green tea on the house and even bring out some special how sauce because they seen we liked spicy. Bahn me was delicious and I especially like that the bread was light. Great meal and friendly service
I came here craving pho after hearing it was the best in town, but unfortunately, it fell far short of expectations. For $19, the portion was surprisingly small—just a few slices of steak, some tripe, and two bò viên (meatballs). At that price point, I expected a more generous serving and at least the option of brisket, which was oddly crossed out on the menu with permanent marker. The restaurant was completely empty during my visit, and after eating here, I can understand why. The broth lacked depth and balance—I had to add chili oil, hoisin, and even salt just to make it palatable, which is something I almost never do with pho. I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but this experience was genuinely disappointing. I hope the owners take this feedback into consideration and make improvements. I used to enjoy this location when it operated as Tan Tan, but under the current ownership, the quality has noticeably declined. Overall, the food felt overpriced for what was served, and I don’t plan on returning.
Food tastes good, but all the portions seem small for the price you’re paying. I only got one picture but I feel like this bowl could have been more full, or even bigger. I’m normally able to take home leftovers but I didn’t this time.
So, after a raved review following our first visit we went back, not nearly as impressed this time. The pirtio. Seemed really small and the broth was pretty bland. My son had the shrimp Pho, there were 4 shrimp!? For 16$ one would expect …
I've come twice, and both times, I experienced a discrepancy in their menu. Please, get it together. Their salad roll was very lacking. As pictured, there was barely any filling, mostly just lettuce. I ordered the S6 banh mi and it was supposed to be fried pork. The picture in the front of the restaurant showed actual pork but what was provided was fried Vietnamese Pork ham. Irritating. It was essentially S5. I asked the guy that works there and said they changed it up. Why put picture menus on the front of the store like it's a counter service restaurant? I felt scammed. On my second visit, I wanted the S17. I noticed this on the menu the first time I came so this was my whole purpose of the 2nd visit. It's the Vietnamese skillet breakfast with pate and baguette. Turns out they don't serve it anymore. CHANGE THE MENU THEN. Aside from the annoying experience, their pho broth is good. They say 3rd times a charm, so maybe my next visit will be better, but I won't hold my breath. If I told you that you had a 66% chance of being irritated, would you come back?
