On the better end of pho restaurants around Oakland. Prices are very fair with the portions you get. They’ve have an extra large option we tried and it’s huge ! Broth is very good and rich. It’s deeply flavored but still clear and not murky so you can bet it’s authentic. The noodles can be improved tho, the noodles were cold and clumped together, makes me feel noodles pre prepped and they let it sit out precooked for some time and when a customer orders, they dump it in a bowl with the broth, hence the coldness and clumping As with any authentic Asian restaurant, service is nonexistent, so you can bet the food is on the better side.

Very delicious, loved the pho it came with a perfect amount of garnishes, the place had these really nice sweet pickles and extra spicy sambal and Sriracha. The tea was not served in a tea cup which I thought was a bit funky lol. The pho flavor had just the right amount of complexity, not overly distinct on any particular spice, just the right blend. There was a nice amount of meat served with the regular size. The restaurant gets a lot of natural light and has friendly and quick service. I liked the overall dining experience and was pretty happy with the food.

The main reason for the 3-star rating is because it's not very sanitary. Our server was a young man with a silver earring on his left side who came to work obviously sick with a cold. He kept rubbing his nose with his bare hands while serving people. I kept a close eye and he never handled our food. He was restocking utensils with his bare hands touching the mouth side of all of them. Thankfully an older gentleman brought our food. Only once I saw the young man go to the restroom and it's not clear if he washed his hands. Take a soup and go home and rest dude. The menu is very basic. They didn't have my favorites, beef stew or ox tail. I tried the brisket, rare steak, and tendon. The broth was good, though it could have used a bit more protein. The pickled chilies at the table were a good addition for flavor and heat. Would have given 4 stars but seeing this server with a cold touching everything made me almost lose my appetite.

Good stuff. Small little parking lot. Staff super friendly and chill and nice. Drinks and smoothies tasted good. Pork a bit dry but that's a vibe kinda. Overall food came out fast and experience was pretty standard. Thanks.
