This place is really delicious, my son and my nephew and myself definitely enjoyed it so much. We will definitely come back again. This place is definitely the king of phó
Come for the epic hu tieu my tho kho, not for the ambiance or vibe. This place has the best Vietnamese glass noodle bowls hands down… I’ve tried so many places in SoCal and I keep coming back here to pho King in San Diego’s little Saigon . If you know this dish, you know why it’s so special: the chewy glass noodles, the bbq pork slices, the stewed tomato pork broth you pour over the noodles, the fresh celery and fried shallots and little pork rind crumbles that top the dish… damn it is so darn tasty. It’s been run by the same family for ages and they have mastered this dish. Pro tip: Always get broth on the side (dry noodles) and just use the tomato pork bowl to moisten your noodle bowls. I dream of this place in LA because I haven’t found anything close to the flavor of Pho King’s hu tieu my tho Kho with the glass noodles. It’s number 28, thank me later! :)
What was supposed to be a normal brunch quickly became extremely unsettling. While eating pho, both my boyfriend and I felt nauseous due to a strong odor in the dining area. After looking around, we discovered a dead rat inside a heater on the floor directly next to our booth. We immediately notified a staff member, who appeared shocked and rushed to investigate, confirming the situation. Due to the obvious health concern, we left right away. No refund or compensation was offered. Seeing a dead rodent inside the dining area is unacceptable, and we will not be returning.
Good service, tasty food, reasonable price and easy to find a parking space. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning. Even though the ceiling fans were on, we were still sweating while we're eating... Also, the menu had little to no pictures
