Pho Minh

This is mine and my wife's favorite Pho spot, it's been a little while since we've been here but it's still just as good as we remember! Our order: #1 Pho Dac Biet: Special combination with flank beef, tripe, fatty and lean brisket, and tendon. And a Taro smoothie for dessert. Price: $40.40 + $8 tip. Everyone who works here is sweet and helpful, it definitely gives a family owned business vibe. The area is a little bit sketchy at night, but the parking lot is well lit and honestly, the food is worth it. Prices went up a little bit, but still cheaper than a lot of places these days. I'll pay a few extra dollars to help keep this place making delicious food.

Edit: I got excited at first but I have to edit my response after a few times ordering here. Last time the egg rolls smelled like spoiled meat. I spat it out. The pork in vermicelli salad was also not fresh. Effectively the meal was ruined and I don't think it's worth going back to argue for a refund because unfortunately folks don't speak much English there. I'll just eat the cost and will be ordering elsewhere. --- original post The food is top notch. I had pho with ribs. I haven't even finished and am already thinking of their ox tail pho next time. There's no ambiance, but yeah, great pho, folks.

Pho Minh on El Cajon Blvd may not be spotted immediately while you're driving through El Cajon Blvd, but what you will find out, it will not be your only visit once you've tried their food. Authentic, quality, variety, fresh, tasty and delicious! Their soups and stir frys are hits and popular dishes, ones you can't find anywhere in City Heights, East County or Southbay area. This family owned restaurant is a hidden gem. You will be lured into ordering dishes you've never tried before because the pictures on the menu look so good. You may also start venturing off in trying different types of foods you’ve never eaten before based on how Pho Minh prepares their dishes. Early last year, I was introduced to Pho Minh by my daughter. She constantly raved about all the assortments of soups she had tried at this place. She goes on to tell me that the fried calamari and fried tofu (both perfectly seasoned) will not disappoint. So, go figure, today, I am a fan of Pho Minh's tofu dish and have gotten others to like tofu too ! Expect a little wait before your meal arrives - this is not a fast food place. Likes: vermicelli chicken (and pork) spring rolls combo, egg rolls, salt&pepper chicken wings, pho rib, honey walnut shrimp, rice plate combos, mi quang, bun rieu, bun ca...these are just to name a few Dislikes: parking space and parking stall size A 12-mile drive to Pho Minh in El Cajon Blvd is worth it. In fact, last week having lunch one day wasn't good enough. The family and I had to do part 2 and made it back to Pho Minh the following day ! We're obsessed and we highly recommend!

I have been coming to this place for years and it’s about time I give them a 5 star review! This pho is SPECIAL! You literally feel the love and healing in every bite! I’ve eaten probably 100 bowls by now, and it never disappoints. Hands down my favorite pho spot in all of SD. And if the delicious food isn’t enough, the people that run the restaurant are so friendly and welcoming. I normally call in to order, and by the time I’m done ordering, they know it’s me, and I can hear the smile on her face. Go check them out if you need a pho fix! You won’t be disappointed. P3 and rare steak with tendon just hits in a harmonious wave of flavor. Portions are more than enough. Personnel have great vibes. Best pho I've ever had. This place is magic 🎩 even the music great.
