Pho Nam Cali

I’ve always loved the veggie egg rolls, but my last two experiences were disappointing. During one pickup order placed through Uber Eats, I waited over 30 minutes, another customer who ordered in-store was served before me, and one order of egg rolls was missing. I was offered a free drink instead of a refund. I gave the restaurant another chance, but the egg rolls were extremely oily, with oil pooling in the bag and leaking onto other items. After eating one, my stomach hurt. The egg rolls are great when properly drained, but these recent experiences have led me to order elsewhere.

The phones so flavorful, and the portion sizes are worth every penny spent. We got the spring rolls which were a decent size , but the peanut sauce that come with it was phenomenal. Will definitely come back.

i don’t even exaggerate when i say this place hits every single time. pho num call is actually that spot. the broth?? so rich, so flavorful, you can tell it’s been simmering for hours. it’s not bland, not greasy, just perfectly balanced and comforting especially when you’re not feeling 100%. the meat is always tender and fresh, and they don’t skimp on portions either. and let’s talk about the herbs and sides everything tastes clean and fresh, like they actually care about quality. when you add the lime and the basil… yeah it’s over. the vibe is chill, not too loud, not chaotic. service is quick and they’re always nice, which i appreciate because customer service really matters to me. i’ve gone when i was sick, hungry, stressed, and every time it just does what it needs to do. if you want real comfort food that actually satisfies and doesn’t disappoint, pho num call is it. 10/10 for me every time.😋😋😋

A huge part of that experience comes from the workers, especially Zidane and Jason. Zidane brings a calm confidence to the floor. He knows the menu inside and out and explains dishes in a way that actually makes you excited to order. He’s attentive without hovering, always checking in at the right moments, and he treats every customer with the same level of respect and care. You can tell he takes pride in his work, and that pride shows in how smoothly everything runs when he’s around. Jason, on the other hand, adds energy and personality that instantly makes the place feel more alive. He’s friendly, quick with a joke, and great at reading the room. Whether the restaurant is packed or slow, Jason keeps the vibe positive and welcoming. He moves fast, handles pressure well, and never lets stress show, which makes customers feel relaxed and taken care of. Together, Zidane and Jason represent what makes this restaurant great. They turn a simple meal into an experience by creating a space where people feel comfortable, valued, and eager to come back. Great food might bring people in the first time, but workers like them are the reason people return again and again.

Best pho in town. My go to order is the nam cali special pho, spicy edamame, crab wonton, and a coke. Very good tasting food. Good service, fast service.
