Pho Saigon 8 is a Vietnamese restaurant at 45 E Silverado Ranch Blvd, Ste 110, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Located in the Silverado Ranch area, it serves familiar Vietnamese dishes for guests looking for pho, grilled plates, vermicelli noodle salads, and egg rolls. The menu items mentioned by customers include pho, grilled chicken, grilled pork and shrimp with egg rolls over vermicelli, and crispy egg rolls. These options can suit a casual meal, a takeout order, or a visit with someone who wants a choice beyond a bowl of soup.
Pho is one of the restaurant’s central offerings, and customer experiences with it vary. Some diners return for years and have made Pho Saigon 8 part of their routine, while other recent reviewers describe the broth or portion as disappointing. One review mentions a small regular pho with a few pieces of meatball; another says the broth was acceptable but not as expected. If pho is what brings you in, consider that feedback as part of the picture: experiences with flavor, serving size, and value have not been consistent for every guest.
The grilled dishes and noodle salads provide alternatives to soup. Customers have ordered grilled chicken plates and grilled pork and shrimp vermicelli salads, sometimes with egg rolls. Reviews of these dishes are mixed too, with some diners raising concerns about bland chicken, fatty or overcooked pork, and egg rolls that were burnt or not to their liking. Those details are useful to know when choosing what to order, particularly if you have a specific preference for leaner grilled meat or crisp, carefully cooked egg rolls. The restaurant also offers takeout, according to customers who have ordered meals to go.
Service and wait times are another part of the reported experience. While some customers say they have visited the Silverado location for years, others describe unusually long waits, problems with order preparation, or service that left them dissatisfied. Reports are individual experiences rather than a guarantee of what a new guest will encounter, but they suggest that timing and consistency may vary. For a visit when you are on a tight schedule, allowing extra time or checking directly with the restaurant about current service and ordering arrangements may be helpful; hours are not available in the supplied listing information.
Pho Saigon 8 has a listed rating of 3.9 from 358 reviews, alongside both repeat-visitor comments and strongly critical feedback. That range makes recent reviews worth considering alongside the menu and location. It may be a practical option for people in south Las Vegas seeking Vietnamese classics in the Silverado Ranch area, especially those interested in pho, vermicelli salads, grilled plates, or takeout. A thoughtful approach is to choose based on the dishes you enjoy and keep in mind that reviewers report differing experiences with portions, preparation, wait times, and service.

We arrived at opening and the first ones at the restaurant. First off, any regular pho cost $20. I also ordered a grilled chicken plate. The food came out 51 minutes later. The pho was small, 5 small chopped up pieces of meatball. The chicken has NO flavor, as bland as it comes and a very thin cut. The spring roll was good and that's about it. I'm still hungry walking out of there. Have to resort to Burger King next door. Worse experience in a long time. I feel like I'm at an Asian restaurant in the middle of nowhere where it's overpriced and it tastes like crap.
I have been going to the Silverado location for years to dine or take to go. This is a to go order for 6/17/26 - 2 grilled pork & shrimp with egg roll vermicelli noodle salads and an order of crispy egg rolls. I don't understand the person who prepared the food did not have a conscience in packing the order? The grilled pork was on top of the lettuce and green onions, which made them soggy (presentation was sloppy) and the lettuce for the egg rolls were old and wilted. It was very disappointing especially with the higher prices since the new owner took over. The cook needs training and needs to care about his work. I will have to find another location.
Well, food is not good. I am putting it in nicely as possible. I use to come here and have not been here for while but dang they changed.. ordered egg roll that looks like egg roll from Jack in the box. And grill pork was well, full of fat. It was wow! Also my pho was ok, broth tasted like it was well mixed with water. I don't like to write bad review but dang.... What a place..... I am never coming back! I am going to try their other location by China town, if that place is like this! No more siagon 8.
Been coming here for years. I've noticed portions getting smaller. Today will be my last time. Portions were much smaller than the last time. My egg rolls were burnt and so was the grilled pork. Because of that the taste was terrible. Wait time was unusually long as well.
The WORST service I have ever received. They let their employee be high or at least act high because I don’t know what kind of service that was. I DO NOT recommend this restaurant at all. This was the worst service any of us ever experienced. The entire time, the waiter’s eyes were red and his demeanor was strange. It would’ve been fine if he was at least polite and respectful. I used to be a regular here but I’m never coming back. As soon as we walked in, the waiter was so aloof and told us to sit at this certain table. It was against a wall so it felt tight. We politely asked if we could sit at another one (still by the other tables being served) and he kept just pointing and saying in a monotone voice “this table. this table. this table. this table.” So we simply sat at the table he kept pointing to. He drops the menus down disrespectfully and walks away. We see his interactions with the other customers and it was no better. Less than five minutes later, he sits customers at the exact table we had asked to be seated at. Curiously, and frustrated at his attitude, we asked why they were able to be seated when he outright refused us. He ignores us and walks into the back. When he finally comes to take our order, we order the food by their numbers to make it easier. He wasn’t even listening. He looks around and then repeats “what do you want?” in a rude manner. We frustratingly reply, “we just told you. A 3 and a 13.” That’s all we said when the waiter sassily looks us up and down before asking impolitely, “do you want to eat here or not?” Taken aback, we ask if he’s kicking us out. He ignores our question and asks if we want to eat there or not. We have never walked out of a restaurant before but had to because he kicked us out for simply saying we had already given him the order. When we ask for his name, he walks to the back and says, “don’t worry about it.” This used to be my regular pho place but I’m never returning until he’s gone. I took first timers here hoping they could try the food and now will never return. I have to tell all my friends who often eat here to avoid this kind of service.
