Pretty run of the mill pho joint. The server was nice. Nothing really stood out, and nothing really bothered me. The thai iced tea was served in kind of a small glass with only 2 ice cubes. Maybe they melted, I dunno, I like lots of ice. The medium I got looked pretty small but I also got fresh rolls so I got full anyway. I'd come back if I needed hangover medicine but Pho Lam down the street has far superior pho and fresh rolls.

Stopped by here to grab a quick Vietnamese Iced Coffee and was told it’s $8. I was looking at the menu and it shows that it is $7, that was hanging on right by the front area. I ignored it… I was then watched the lady make the coffee and stopped her because she was using two packets of powdered coffee and asked if they don’t use drip. Which this is the first place I ever since anyone use powder for this type of coffee. I decided to just give it a try because now i’m just wasting my time stopping here for a quick coffee. At the end I took out my card and she asked if i had cash, which i didn’t. She then charged me $8.50 without even saying there was a fee if i did card. Looked at my bank and it shows $9.37. I’m so disappointed, that coffee was not almost $10 worth. I could have stopped by a drive through coffee stand instead but wanted to treat myself to go inside a near pho restaurant to grab me a Vietnamese coffee. After everything that was the worst drink and ended up throwing it away.

Overall, the experience was a disappointment, and sadly, I was not surprised. Despite all the negative reviews on Yelp, I decided to give this place the benefit of the doubt. I came here with my boyfriend for dinner, we hadn't eaten anything all day, and we were starving. The place had one other person inside, so we got seated quickly. Upon sitting down, I grabbed utensils from the utensil container, and they were all dirty. I had to rinse them in my water cup and wipe it down before using. I got the regular size Pho Tai for $15~, my bf got the beef teriyaki, extra meat for $20~. I thought it was weird how they also charge extra if you want extra lime or cilantro/onions, I've never seen a pho restaurant do that... My pho was more like a small size compared to other places, with less than an average portion of meat. My meat was tough to chew and dry. The soup was very oily. On top of that, my pho was served with a strand of hair. Thankfully, I saw it before I started eating, our server was kind and brought out a new bowl of pho. However, that was not the only issue; the beef teriyaki was just as underwhelming as my pho. It looked more like a beef stir fry, and the beef was even TOUGHER to chew. I do not recommend this place if you are looking for Vietnamese comfort food.

I’m so disgusted. I’ve never seen a more dirty restaurant. Of course when I left I saw their health score is “okay”. The least a business could do is deep clean. If you can’t clean, hire someone. But this place was truly DIRTY. The walls …

Okay, so I checked out Pho Saigon in Kent last night. It was pretty busy for a late night spot, which was good. I got the #3 pho and honestly, it was a pretty standard bowl – decent broth, but the noodles were a bit tough and some of the meat was chewy. The veggies were fresh though, which was nice. The atmosphere wasn’t amazing, a little dark and a bit worn down. They have a boba place next door at S Level Tea, and seriously, their Thai tea is way better. Just a note – they only take cash, which is a bit inconvenient.
