Pho is a clear reason many local diners visit. The dining experience is counter-service: guests order and pay at the counter before their meal. This place does not sell actual Bo Kho. Not a carrot in the stew and the flavor tasted more like colored Pho than Bo Kho. Save yourself the trip and the hassle of finding a clean table to dine at. Apparently they only clean a table when you walk in and won’t clean another table until the next customer comes in so we sat next to a dirty table. Disappointing experience.

Was excited to try this place based on the rating, but it didn’t live up to expectations. The decor is pretty standard for a Vietnamese pho spot — not dirty, but definitely shows some age. Service was okay, but having to order and pay at the counter first threw me off a bit. Spring rolls were narrow in size, dry, and didn’t taste fresh. The peanut sauce was supposed to be creamy with crushed peanuts, but instead it was watery with an artificial flavor. The pho itself was also disappointing — the noodles were broken and overcooked, which really affected the texture. Prices are similar to other pho spots in the area, but the quality didn’t match. I didn’t give 1 star because the food is technically edible, but for a pho place this is definitely way below average. For $21, I felt a strong obligation to finish all the food — mission accomplished, but not enjoyable. Also not sure how this place has a 4.3 rating — that feels pretty misleading based on my experience. Based on this visit, I wouldn’t return.

I’ve eaten a LOT of pho in greater Houston, and this place definitely ranks as one of the better places to go! I always get the combination beef! Some places don’t give you enough tendon and tripe, not this place! They don’t skimp and give nice portions of both! The broth is also excellent. You can tell they take their time and simmer it a long time. It’s definitely with a quick drive out 290 for a change of pace! They also offer bubble tea and other drinks, haven’t ordered those yet, but they look great! Update!! I tried their vermicelli bowl with pork! It was super yummy! Nice, thick pieces of pork, grilled perfectly! Delicious Viet egg roll on top, too!!

Absolutely love this place, I had to bring my friends and family. Their Tofu Pho is the best i’ve ever had. The broth has a rich flavor which is rare for vegetarian soup. The service is amazing, everyone is very fast, polite, and professional. The only place I come to for Pho in Houston.
