Pho Viet’s is a Vietnamese restaurant at 1022 Commonwealth Ave in Boston, Massachusetts (Boston, MA 02215), serving diners looking for Vietnamese comfort food in the city. Customer feedback highlights pho, vermicelli bowls, summer rolls, spring rolls, and bánh mì, with experiences varying by dish and visit. The restaurant has a 4.5-star rating from 561 reviews, offering local diners useful context as they decide where to eat or order.

Pho is a notable choice here. One guest enjoyed beef pho with lai fun noodles, requested as a special substitution, and found the portion generous enough to take half home. Another review describes the special beef pho as average and raises concerns about the noodle texture in a spicy pho order. These different impressions suggest that the experience can depend on the particular bowl and personal preferences. If you are choosing pho, it may help to ask about available noodle options when ordering.

There are also favorable mentions of the tofu vermicelli bowl, described by one diner as fresh, tasty, and especially generous in portion size, with hot, crispy tofu. Reviews mention summer rolls, spring rolls, and bánh mì as well, though feedback on those items is mixed. For a quick meal, diners say ordering is efficient: place your order at checkout, then staff bring the food to your table if you are eating in. Customers have also noted quick service during busy periods, while one reviewer felt the food was better for dining in than for takeout.

Pho Viet’s may suit people seeking a filling Vietnamese meal, including diners interested in pho, a substantial vermicelli bowl, or a relaxed stop for lunch or dinner. Reviews also describe catering for a corporate event, including appetizers and a boba tea bar; the customer praised the personalized labels and clear allergy-related food labels. This indicates catering is worth asking about if you are planning an event, but confirm current options and details directly with the restaurant. The setting has been described as small, with an ordering-at-the-counter format and table service for dine-in guests. Hours are Monday and Wednesday through Thursday, 11:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 11:00 a.m.–8:30 p.m.; and Sunday, 11:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. The restaurant is closed Tuesday. Check current hours before visiting, especially around holidays.

Small, but pretty efficient ordering (you order at the check out and then they bring you food to your table if you are eating. Went for the beef pho with Lai fun noodle (special request). Pretty good pho. It was a lot though so I ended up packing like half of it home 😆. When I initially went in there seemed to be plenty of space but there were a lot of people coming in and out over time. There were also a lot on the menu (displayed above the counter). I don't think they had prices though.

Decent food, quick service even with being pretty busy. Probably way better if comparing to take-out quality. …

Pho Viet’s catered a corporate event for me this week, and they absolutely nailed it! They set up a boba tea bar and appetizers, and they even went above and beyond by creating personalized labels, a sign, and clear food labels due to some allergies we shared. It was an exceptional experience, and the food was delicious. In fact, people loved it so much that they asked to take some home. I highly recommend using Pho Viet for your corporate event catering needs.

I got a tofu vermicelli bowl and oh my goodness it was a GIGANTIC portion for the price and so so tasty. So fresh and the tofu was hot and crispy. I wish I lived closer because I could eat it every day

Pho was bit of a disappointment. Special beef pho was average. Spicy pho was served with not thin rice noodle, but thicker and more like egg noodle. Summer roll is juat giant roll wirh chewy meat and 1 shrimp, peanut sauce was strangely dark with no peanut flavor. Spring roll was burnt.. Bahn mi was not bad. Pricey for casual takeout place with self serve tables.
