Phởholic is a well-known Vietnamese restaurant in Westminster, CA, located at 14932 Bushard St, Westminster, CA 92683. For people searching for Vietnamese comfort food in Orange County, this spot is especially associated with phở, the classic Vietnamese beef noodle soup. With a 4.4 rating across more than 2,300 reviews, Phởholic has built a strong local following among diners who return for its focused menu, long daily hours, and dependable place in the Vietnamese dining scene of Westminster. The restaurant is open every day from 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM, which makes it a practical choice for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even a late-night bowl of soup.

What many guests come for is the restaurant’s dedication to phở and the way it highlights the essentials: broth, noodles, beef, and traditional garnishes. Reviews frequently mention the aromatic broth, fresh noodles, and the classic accompaniments that complete the bowl. Some customers especially appreciate the vinegar onions and bean sprouts, while others point to the flexibility of the menu, noting that diners can mix and match combinations in a way that feels useful rather than complicated. That clarity makes Phởholic a straightforward recommendation for people who know exactly what they want from a Vietnamese restaurant in Westminster, California: a bowl of beef noodle soup with familiar flavors and a format centered on customization.

The atmosphere at Phởholic is best described as busy, casual, and fast-moving. This is not presented in reviews as a quiet, lingering dining room; instead, it comes across as a place with steady traffic, moderate noise, and an energy that reflects its popularity. Guests mention lines, packed seating, and a strong local crowd, especially during peak times. At the same time, several reviews note that the operation moves efficiently and that wait times can be shorter than expected once you arrive. Free parking is available, though visitors also mention that finding a spot may take patience when the restaurant is at its busiest. Early visits may be easier for parking and a calmer start to the meal.

For locals in Westminster and visitors exploring Little Saigon and the broader Orange County Vietnamese food scene, Phởholic is a good fit for pho lovers, families, and groups of friends who do not mind a lively room in exchange for a focused meal. It also works well for students, workers, and travelers looking for a filling option at flexible hours. Because the menu is centered on phở, the restaurant is especially relevant for diners who want a place with a clear specialty rather than a long list of unrelated dishes. The overall experience described by customers is less about formal dining and more about getting a satisfying bowl in an active, popular setting.

A balanced view of Phởholic also means recognizing that reactions to the broth are not identical. While many customers describe it as rich, authentic, and memorable, some feel it is lighter than expected. That difference is useful for new visitors: Phởholic is a place with a strong reputation, but personal taste still matters, especially with something as specific as phở broth. Even so, the restaurant stands out in Westminster, CA for its specialized identity, broad daily hours, and consistent visibility among Vietnamese food fans in Orange County. If you are looking for a recognizable Vietnamese restaurant in Westminster where phở is clearly the main event, Phởholic is one of the names you are likely to hear first.

This restaurant is located in Orange County, near San Diego, and is a favorite among many Vietnamese locals, so it’s highly recommended for pho lovers. The flavors are very authentic and delicious. Their phở focuses on classic Vietnamese beef noodle soup. The broth is aromatic and rich, paired with fresh vegetables and tender slices of meat. It’s especially perfect for warming up on a cool winter day. The portions of beef, bone marrow, and beef shank are very generous, making it an excellent value for the price.

Don't get the hype. The broth is so watered down and there's no actual beef flavor in it. It's as if they just added scallion oil to the broth to make it LOOK rich but in reality it tastes almost like nothing! Waiting in line for this was insane. The fresh noodles, vinegar onions, and blanched bean sprouts they offer are nice, but I'd much rather have a flavorful broth than some good additions. The pho also comes out piping hot which should be a good sign except for the fact that the broth was lacking in flavor. There was a good amount of meat in every bowl though if you're into that. Will not be returning.

Their menu is very flexible, you can mix and match almost any combination for the same price (except for a few special items). They serve the best pho we’ve had in both the OC and San Diego areas. The restaurant was very crowded when we arrived, but the wait time was surprisingly short. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the portions were generous.

I ate here back in 2021, early in a cold winter morning and remembered it was delicious and rich in favor of the broth. Parking in the morning upon their opening was easy, not much to fight for. The place had been around for decades so it old but will keep at it best so don't expected too high, but it's clean both indoor and out on the covered deck. This place is packed most of the time and every weekend and the line can be waited for over hr. The service is nice, friendly and courteous. The pho is nice, nothing special from my perspective - it’s clean but missing something. The meats portion is good but the price is $15.50 for the bowl. At least hot ice (or iced) are free.

We made the trip to Phơ Holic in Westminster after my daughter ran a marathon in Costa Mesa -and yeah, I get why it’s hyped. Parking is free but don’t expect it to be easy, and once you’re inside, they pack people in. Moderate noise, busy energy-this place moves. We went all in: My daughter and her best friend had the Pho Chin, Nam, Gau, Gan, Ve (brisket, flank, fatty flank, tendon, crunchy flank). I had the Pho Tai, Nam, Gau, Gan, Sach (steak, flank, fatty flank, tendon, tripe). The broth? Clean. Deep. No shortcuts. You can taste the hours behind it-nothing muddy, nothing heavy, just straight-up proper pho. Herbs were fresh and aromatic like they should be. Even the jasmine green tea was on point-perfectly brewed, not bitter, just smooth. We’re from the San Fernando Valley, and honestly… pho out there feels weak compared to this. Not the same depth, not the same care. This spot was recommended by her coworkers who also ran-and they weren’t wrong. We’ll be back for more. #PhoHolic #WestminsterEats #OCFood #RealPho
