Sign in to reviewMy favorite nail salon in the Bay!! Been going here for three years and leave so happy every time. Shoutout to Trianna (who did these nails!) and Hannah, both so sweet and always do an amazing job. The nails pictured are almond-shaped pink gel with chrome. Can’t recommend Polished enough!
Okay, while yes my nails look good, the customer service was lacking. The young lady who answered the phone, and was the main scheduler that day, was impatient. She wouldnt let me finish a sentence before assuming she knew what i was going to say, no biggie maybe shes in a rush...not a chance. Two people came in while i was getting my nails done, one wanted to get her nails redone from another place that had messed them up, she couldnt even get the context out before young lady was inturrupting. The second person was someone who didnt know much about nails or what specific terms meant, she was confused and didnt have an answer ready, the kind that comes with time and experience of having nails done, and man was this girl even more impatient than with the first person. Bc i cant keep my mouth shut, i told my nail lady "This passive aggression is not okay" Went yesterday, 31 May, to get nails done with my partner. My nail tech, Hannah? Anna?, she was so freakin sweet and paid close attention to detail. I got a cat eye gel on natural nails this time. My partner got an older woman who was super chatty with the other techs the entire time she did his nails. When my set was done, she was onto the UV lighting for his gel manicure. He had already tried to tell her that keeping his hand in the entire time she worked on the other hand (even past the time it takes for the gel to cure) was burning his hand (hes super white and prone to burning) I then tried to tell her and she just kept talking and talking and said "its fine, keep your hand all the way in" and slid his hand father into the lightbox and went right back to talking. I advised him to just put his finger tips in for about 30-45 seconds, he was able to avoid any true (basically sun burn) burns. But this was the most haphazard, low effort, manicure ive personally witnessed. (Ignore the meeting hes in, but the video is of his nails that cost 35$ vs mine. His cuticles arent trimmed on every finger, his paint is low key pulling up already on the pinky from the cuticle line, etc)
I highly recommend Triana and Tran for designs and overlay powder. They are both extremely talented and can recreate anything I find on Pinterest. Hannah, Nancy, and Le are amazing for manicures and pedicures. This place is a 10/10 for me!
Trianna is the BEST nail tech i’ve been to in the US🫶🏻 I’ve done my nails with her multiple times and each time it was GREAT! Sometimes you go in fast, other times you wait but everyone is very friendly and it’s never that serious. Two pics of the nails Trianna did for me, the ombre french was hand painted and was exactly what I wanted! 100% would go back never had an issue with them before and would rate it better than other places i’ve been to before.
Did not have a good experience. I made an appointment two days in advance for a mani/pedi, but making an appointment felt pointless because they kept taking walk-ins without considering scheduled clients. I ended up waiting 40 minutes just to be seated. The pedicure quality was very poor and rushed. It felt like they were trying to move through clients as quickly as possible to fit in as many people as they could. After seeing the quality of the work on my toes, I decided to skip the manicure altogether. I also noticed the staff talking about me while I was checking the pedicure work, assuming I couldn’t understand the language they were speaking. Unfortunately for them, I could. That made the experience even more uncomfortable and unprofessional.
