Portland Best Auto Repair

Portland Best Auto Repair is an auto repair shop at 3621 SE 52nd Ave in Portland, OR 97206. Customer reviews describe a range of repair needs handled here, including a serpentine belt, alternator, broken window, air conditioning, and windshield wiper. The examples offer a practical picture for drivers looking for help with common vehicle problems, whether they have noticed a failing component or need a smaller repair. The shop has a 4.4-star rating from 177 reviews, giving local customers a useful starting point as they compare auto repair options in Portland.

Several reviewers mention communication and prompt service. One customer called for a quote and again before visiting, and said they received an answer each time; the shop also confirmed the suspected serpentine belt issue quickly and completed the replacement the next day. Another review describes an air-conditioning repair completed quickly, with friendly and honest customer service. A customer with a broken wiper also appreciated receiving a good price on the part and not being charged labor for that small job. These are individual experiences, rather than a guarantee of timing or pricing for every repair, but they can help set expectations about the kinds of service customers have reported.

Reviews also mention work on an alternator and a car window, along with a report involving tires and an alignment. The feedback is not entirely uniform: one reviewer expressed disappointment after returning with concerns about work performed about a month earlier. That perspective matters when choosing a repair shop, and customers with questions about a specific service may want to discuss the concern, requested work, and estimate directly with the team before proceeding. Taken together, the reviews give a balanced view of the shop’s reported services and customer experiences, rather than suggesting that every visit will be the same.
