I came to Posh Nails yesterday (6/25/2026) since I recently moved and wanted to find someplace closer to my new home. While the staff were friendly and attentive and the shaping and polish coverage of my nails were great, I have some other issues. I got an acrylic full set with gel polish and a pedicure with gel polish. For the acrylics, they were not attached flush against the nail and so there is a substantial gap between the bottom of the false nail and the top of my natural nail. Since they were not attached flat against the nail, the appearance of my nails point upward instead of following my finger’s typical curve. I don’t know about you, but my fingernails do not typically flex back toward me. I have never been to a salon that attaches false nails in this manner. Not only is it distracting and unsightly, it also traps quite a bit of gunk under my nails. I have a newborn and dirty diapers are part of my life, so I don’t need to create a bacterial/fungal breeding ground that would impact my health and even more so my baby’s health. I have attached images of my thumbs to try and portray how the nails were attached and that they do not point down as they should since they are the most drastic of all of my nails. I also woke this morning (6/26/2026) to find that my right big toe was infected after my pedicure yesterday. I generally maintain good foot cleanliness and have only had this issue when salons do not properly or adequately clean the tools they are using. With time and antibiotics, this will heal but in the meantime my toe is quite painful. I guess if I was desperate in needing to get my nails done, I would return to Posh Nails since they genuinely did a good job but I think will be making the trek to my old salon instead.

I came here about 10 days ago with my best friend. I paid for both of us to get our nails done. While mine did come out very cute, sadly I can't recommend because somehow one of them broke off?!? One of my friend's has also chipped too!! (Somehow on the same nail as mine?) I'm actually VERY careful about not doing anything that could potentially break, chip, or damage my nails. I always treat them delicately. At the premium I paid for this set ($100+) I am disappointed that this happened. I also noticed after we left that the nails weren't flush with the end of my cuticle, thus making them look a few days to a week old even though they were brand new. Not the end of the world, and I was going to let it slide, but I can't help but think that maybe that's why my nail broke off so easily?? Because it wasn't fully secured onto my nail as far as it needed to be?? I don't know. I really wanted to like this place. They were nice and offered a complimentary free soda, which I appreciated.😊 The one thing that was off-putting was when I was making the payment, they went out of their way to gesture at the screen when a pop-up requesting tips came up. As this was right at closing, I had at least 2-3 of the nail techs staring at me while paying so I felt uncomfortable and pressured into tipping. (I always tip anyway, I just didn't like feeling pushed into it) Now I'm worried about how much this is going to cost to fix 😞

I came in excited to try this salon after seeing the beautiful sets my friends have gotten here at such reasonable prices. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The polish application was uneven, with noticeable flooding around the cuticles and sides, this resulted in lifting in less than a day. The finish itself is bumpy and lumpy, and there is still polish left on my fingertips. Additionally, my cuticles were trimmed very unevenly. I had high hopes based on recommendations, but the quality of my service didn’t meet those expectations. Although my nails are very short, I do believe that a nail tech should be able to work with any type or shape of nails, espically natural ones. When the tech said it would not look exactly like the picture I said that was okay, but there was a lack in overall technique, application, and artistic skills. I have gotten my short nails done many times so it is very possible to do them nicely. The first photos show the result I left with (I paid $55), while the middle photo is the reference I brought in and what I was hoping to achieve. I’ve also included examples of nails that my friends and I have gotten at other salons to show that this style can absolutely be done on short nails.

absolutely love my nails! The shape is perfect, the black French tips are so clean, and the little flower details with the rhinestones are beautiful. Everything was done with so much care and attention to Detail

I had a great experience at this salon. Emma did an amazing job on my nails and was very friendly and professional. The entire staff was welcoming, kind, and helpful from the moment I arrived. The salon was clean, relaxing, and well organized. I’m very happy with the service and will definitely be coming back. Thank you to Emma and the whole team for making my visit so enjoyable!
