I had been to this salon three times before and thought I had finally found my go-to nail salon, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I arrived around 2:00 PM on a Sunday and it quickly became obvious they didn’t have enough staff to handle the number of walk-in customers. It appeared that the manager called in additional technicians, who arrived about 30 minutes later. The first issue was a technician provided me with a used towel from a client who just finished their service. I was then left soaking off my dip nails for around 45 minutes before one of the backup technicians finally began my service. From the beginning, everything felt rushed. There was no attention given to my cuticles, no discussion about the shape I wanted, and I was hurried through choosing a color. I pointed to the number I wanted, but the very first nail was dipped into a noticeably darker color. When I spoke up, the technician had difficulty communicating with me and continued working. If communication is a barrier, I’d prefer to use a translation app on the phone instead of them ignoring the customer due to a language barrier. Even after I raised my concerns again, there was still a significant communication barrier, making it difficult to correct the mistake. It turns out the backup technician chose a product from the wrong product line, even though the numbers matched, so it ended up being a way darker color than I asked for. Throughout the service, my hands and nails were covered in dust and product buildup, and the overall process did not feel clean or thorough. When he needed acetone, he dipped into the bowl of my soaked off dip nails, which just ended up spreading the acrylic all over my hands. I had to pick it off once I got home because it wouldn’t wash off. He filed my nails aggressively and there was nothing enjoyable about this 3 hour process. The technician seemed focused on moving as quickly as possible rather than providing quality work. He did not have his own workstation or products to use and kept getting up to borrow other people‘s products. He ended up putting the incorrect topcoat on my nails which created further issues that the other coworker had to correct. To the salon’s credit, another employee stepped in and genuinely tried to fix the situation. Because they didn’t want to remove the dip and start over, they did what they could to improve the result. Unfortunately, the solution was to put a second dip powder over the original dip powder color. This meant we’re now working with about 5 layers of dip. And because he chose the wrong topcoat originally, a gel topcoat had to be applied so there is an insane amount of product on my nails at this current moment. The final result looks bad, as you can see the darker purple peeking through on the perimeter of all 10 nails. I appreciate that the salon discounted my service. However, the finished nails are much thicker than they should be from all the extra layers, they’re actually uncomfortable to wear, and I’m still unhappy with how they look. I understand that busy days happen, but if additional technicians are called in, they should be able to perform the service properly and communicate effectively with customers. Unfortunately, despite the staff’s attempt to make things right, the overall experience was unacceptable, and I won’t be returning.

My favorite Dallas find since moving here they’re so nice and quick! Can you believe I got all of this done without leaving the pedicure chair?! They also run super good specials here. I’ve never paid over 125 for 4 services. I’ll choose them every time!

After researching this business’ mixed reviews, today was the day I was going to finally give them a try and step outside my comfort zone. However, the experience from the outside is absolutely unprofessional. I arrived early and remained in my car until 9:33am, on 03/18 (Wed. “their reopen date”), and the door is still locked. At now, 9:45am. Attempted to call the business number on the door, no answer. Quite ghetto honestly. Yes I said ghetto, and very much so meant it🙄 Definitely should not be named “Poshe”. At least I didn’t get even more disappointing nail service!
