Customer reviews describe hands-on service and communication with Matias, including a customer who says a new engine was installed in a 2012 GMC truck and that the shop welded its rusted muffler. That reviewer reports the truck has continued to run well and appreciates receiving returned calls or text messages with useful information. Other customers praise the service, the quality of the work, and prices they consider reasonable. These accounts offer practical details for drivers researching an auto machine shop in Aurora, while each repair and experience can differ by vehicle and circumstance.
There is also a review describing an unexpected increase of $1,000 over the original quote for an F-150 tune-up and timing-chain replacement, along with additional thermostat work. The reviewer says the added charges were not communicated beforehand. This feedback is important for customers planning a repair: ask what the estimate includes, whether diagnostic or related work could change the total, and how the shop will get approval before adding work. Confirming the scope and price in advance can help both sides set clear expectations.
Pro plus auto solutions is listed with a 4.8-star rating from 50 reviews. The shop is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and closed Sunday, making weekday and Saturday visits possible for people balancing work and vehicle maintenance. For anyone considering engine, exhaust, tune-up, or timing-chain service, contacting the shop directly to describe the vehicle, request a written estimate, and clarify timing and approvals is a sensible first step. Reviews provide helpful context, but a conversation about your specific vehicle is the best way to determine whether the shop’s services fit your needs.

I have a 2012 GMC truck and Matias put a brand new Engine in it and it runs really good. He also did a great welding job on my muffler because it was rusted. I haven’t had a problem with my truck it runs really good and Matias answered all my calls or he would text me back quickly with good information and great prices, I would recommend his Shop 100 percent to everyone
Great service and pretty good prices for the quality of the work. Trustworthy
Best customer service around. They were very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
My daughter took her F-150 for a tuneup up and timing chain replacement. They gave us a quote and when we went to pick it up they tried to charge us an additional $1000 with no prior communication that there would be extra charges. They also changed the thermostat and texted after it was changed, stating the additional cost. They had no prior approval to do this. We were initially told the service would take two days and it took over a week and a half to finish. The owner was rude in his communication when my daughter inquired about the timeline, stating, “these things take time.” Poor communication and poor service. The worst part is, the truck broke down on our drive home. Worst auto shop experience of my life. I would not recommend this shop to my worst enemy.
